Best experience we've ever had renting a vacation home. The owner is nice, thoughtful and full of helpful hints(two books full of things to see and do in the area). The house was very clean and decorated nicely. It felt like we were truly in a home and not a cookie cutter rental. They have thought of everything. The furniture was tasteful, sturdy and comfortable. There were also games and books. The neighborhood is quiet and well kept. The gentlemen at the security gate were very pleasant and the golf course was beautiful. Loved having tv's in all the bedrooms and the games on the lower level were great for the kids. We all enjoyed the hot tub. The deck on the upper level was very relaxing and we enjoyed seeing all the birds and deer. We will be returning for sure. Our group ranged in age from 15 to 73 and everyone enjoyed it.

My family had a great time at the Unserhaus. We arrived on Saturday afternoon and left Wednesday morning. There were six adults and four children in our party. Jerry and Janice Snow (owners) thought of everything to stock this house. To our surprise, the games we brought to entertain us, were already there. My 21-month old had a high chair, playpen,and a baby gate to keep her safe from the stairs...already in the home! Because we own a time-share, we expected the basics but this house had everything we could think of! The location was great since our kids loved the waterpark, which is basically at the bottom of the mountain, as you exit the community. My parents (65 and older) stayed on the main level so they didnt have to climb up or down stairs, which made it easier for them. There were enough televisions so that all ages could watch their own shows. One dislike...not really a dislike, but more of a suggestion, would be to prune the hedges at the bottom patio. Since the hedges and shrubery was very large, we were always concerned about "unwanted creatures" sneaking up on us. The hottub was a great way to relax in the night; but we were never too comfortable because we didn't have a clear view of what was behind us (smile). My father and husband really enjoyed the golf course. We were even able to say hello to them, as they cruised by on the golfcart; I think the Unserhaus in near the 8th hole (I think). Overall, we had an enjoyable time!

Our time at the Unserhaus could not have been any better. The house is very homie and comfortable, complete with Christmas decorations that made our visit ever more festive. The house was spacious, on three levels, and the hot tub was a big hit with the entire family. Going to Unserhaus has become one of our favorite family Christmas traditions. We are so blessed to have found the Snow's house.

This home was perfect for our get away to meet relatives from another state. The house was graciously supplied and furnished with everything you could possibly need. It was in perfect condition and in a beautiful neighborhood. We enjoyed the beautiful Fall leaves, the food in Helen, the nearby waterfalls, hiking and relaxing with our family on the home's deck surrounded by nature.

Enjoyed our stay--saw a bear in the road the first day. Realy needed more time to explore the countryside. Home is listed as a 4 bedroom, but although there are lots of places to sleep, there are only 3 private bedrooms with a door that closes.

House is beautiful and has everything a person could want. I couldn't believe they even had samples of coffee if you chose to use it. Everything was very clean and very accomodating.

Unserhouse proved to be so enjoyable to stay in for our two families with teens and three other friends. It is so roomy, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It was nicely located near the alpine Village and activities we partook in (Tubing and Waterpark, the town (shopping & exhibits) and restaurants, Unicoi State Park w/ AnnaRuby Falls etc..) and the scenery is so pretty/clean in the golf community it is in. We saw a mama deer with two babies on the way out:)

We visited Unserhaus from July 3 through July 9. It is a short distance from downtown Helen. The home is magnificent with all the things you need to set up camp. It has lots of room with things for grown ups and kids to do. The back deck is amazing and makes the perfert spot for outside living. The golf course is a golfers paradise and my husband is still talking about that. Overall a God blessed environment that will be remembered forever.

We were 3 couples coming from different states trying to find a nice place to get together for 4 days. Unserhaus turned out to meet and even exceed our expectations. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and very nicely furnished. It was just a short distance to a wide variety of activities/restaurants, yet was quiet and peaceful at the house. The golf course was a real winner. The owner, Mr snow, was always helpful and prompt in his responses. Had a great time.

We came from Northern, Illinois, Washington State, Washington, DC and Philadelphia for our son's wedding in nearby Cleveland, Ga. We stayed for 3 nights. There was plenty of room for 8 adults and 2 young children. The beds were firm, but comfy. The towels were thick. There were plenty of toys and books for the kids. One minor concern: The bottom steps of the stairways are a different height than the others - so watch your step. Jerry Snow, the owner, was prompt in responding to every email. Unserhaus definitely felt like it was "our house" while we were there. Thanks so much Jerry!

Best family vacation we ever had. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of room and lot more to spare. Kids loved it. We will return. Everything they said was just like they said. My daughter-in-law was really impressed over the child gait, and all the little things to cook with. It was great . Cain't say enough good.

This house was a wonderful place for my family to gather to breathe the fresh North Georgia air and rest! We also explored great N. Georgia sights such as Hiawassee, Helen, and Lake Burton. The house is comfortable and spacious beyond words. We were blessed with a visit by a momma bear and her three cubs one night which delighted us. She was just exploring the front porch! It is the kind of house to which humans and wildlife would be attracted . It gets my highest recommendation.

My family of 8 adults, vistited Helen, GA for Oktoberfest and had the priviledge of staying at "UNSERHAUS". The owners, Mr. & Mrs. Jerry Snow, have furnished this home with every possible thing anyone would want in a home. The home is extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The beds and linens are of top quality. The Snow's provided maps, lists of restaurants, places to go and things to see. Mr. Snow was gracious enough to mail to me an item that had been left behind, and at his expense.
I would highly recommend this home for the perfect get-away. In fact, my family are hoping to return there again in October. -

When booking this vacation we were so worried as this was our first time renting a home. Everything was just perfect, they thought of everything that you could possibly need and more.
The house was super clean, great neighborhood, plently of room. We had 6 people and still had tons of room to spare. Highly recommended - don't worry if you forget something - they have it there for you! -

This is the perfect vacation spot if you want all the amenities of home! This
house is so warm and inviting and has absolutely everything you need...
literally! Very kid friendly with toys, games, videos, gates, pack n play. Great
for the grown-ups as well with the hot tube etc! Awesome restaurants and
shopping in town, carriage rides, tubing, water park, golf... so much to do you

We had a wonderful time at Unserhaus. There were 5 ladies; we had plenty of room for sleeping, eating and visiting. The neighborhood was beautiful to drive and walk around. The house had everything we needed.
The owners were very helpful and quick with replies when needed.
We are already planning our next trip to Unserhaus! -

We rented Unserhaus when we got married in Helen. We have a very large family and the house was just perfect for us. The owner, Jerry Snow was so cordial, and helpful. He assisted us in renting another house close by, so we could all be together. The Snows have made their mountain home as warm and nice as they are. We loved the beautiful bedrooms and the hot tub. The home has lots of space and nice bathroom accomadations. The weather was cold and snowy, so we didn't get to golf, but we plan to return during warm weather and take advantage of the free golf priviledges. The lovely fireplace was used during all the cold weather. The whole Unzerhaus experience could not have been better!! We will return, soon.

This was an excellent get away for my family and I to celebrate my birthday. We live in the Atlanta Metro Area and this was a quick get away from it all. Unserhaus had any and everything you could think of a home to have. It truely was a home away from home.
