Chickasaw Chalet is West Tennessee's only privately owned and operated Vacation Cabin Resort. We have five two-bedroom one bath vacation cabins situated on over 12 private acres in the rolling wooded hills of the Chickasaw State Forest, next to the Chickasaw State Park. When you look at the Availability calendar, please keep in mind we have five cabins, and we only mark "unavailable" when all five are booked!
Located just 20 minutes south of Jackson, TN, less than one and half hours east of Memphis, and less than three hours west of Nashville, we are a great "base" from which to explore West Tennessee!

Additional notes from owner
Year- round, we have a two night minimum. Around the various holidays, a three night minimum applies. As we have only five cabins on this resort, we have set our rates at a reasonable rate for everyone based on market in our area and amenities offered. We offer no discounts. We take reservations up to one year in advance and major credit card is required for reservation. First night charges on a major credit card required for reservation. Additional funds and conditions for deposits on extended stays (3 weeks or more) may apply. Cancellation Policy: A minimum seven day notice of cancellation required for refund of deposit less cancellation fee. Two or more cabins reserved together or by members of the same party or group require 45 day notice of any cancellation for refund or credit of deposit, less cancellation fee.. Special conditions on cancellations and deposits on extended stays may apply.

We looked all over Tennessee for a cabin rental from a private owner and finally found one and was not disappointed one bit and have already recommended it to friends. Our stay was pleasant and cabin extremely clean. the demographics was so different than our stay in Union Tn last anniversary where we felt out of place. Tony was very nice and the people in the nearby Jackson area was as well. We know where to go for an exclusive time together as husband and wife. All The cabins were private but I will want to rent the back next time for more seclusion and to be in a different place. Very pleased with our stay

My husband and I wanted a nice relaxing (out of the city) place to go for our anniversary. This place was perfect. I love the rustic look to the cabins and then going inside and everything seems so new! This place looked so clean. I really believe I could have eaten off the floor. Being February, we really enjoyed the electric fireplace and the heat from the hot tub. We also like the civil war areas nearby. The price is very fair (you pay as much for less space in a hotel). The owner Tony, is very nice and I do appreciate that knowing it was our anniversary that he put us in the cabin that was the furthest in the back to give us that privacy. I would definitely not hesitate to stay here again and recommend it to anyone who is looking to getaway to peace and quiet.

This is our third trip to Chickasaw and we'll keep coming back! Our son goes to school in Jackson - it's definately worth the drive to Chickasaw!! Beats staying in a hotel!! The chalets are rustic on the outside - but very clean (spotless!), comfortable and not rustic on the inside. The owners are fantastic, and very accomodating. Wifi is available for those who just can't be without connection. Each chalet has a hot tub - and they're spotless. The owners are by every day to clean and treat the tub.

This was the perfect getaway! The cabin was very clean and had everything I was looking for. The owner was very nice and helpful. The pictures on the website doesn't do this cabin justice. My husband and I plan on making this our little yearly getaway. If you are wanting to just get away and relax this is the perfect place to go.

My friend and I both have manual laboring jobs. This was the perfect weekend get away. 1 1/2 hrs drive from home. Although, we were in a cabin we weren't deep into the woods. Just off the highway. The grounds were quite and beautifully manicured. Tony the owner was very helpful and sweet. It was the perfect private get away. I was able to relax and enjoy each moment. We will be back again.

Chickasaw Chalet has a beautiful location, well-appointed cabins, and reasonable rates. We were able to just relax and enjoy each other and let the world get along without us for a little while. Highlight: watching a beautiful January sunset through the trees while sitting in our hot tub!

Northern ILA great place to stay in west TN!

We are in the process of building a house in Henderson and since we are from IL, we have made many trips down to Henderson. We stayed in many of the hotels up in Jackson and have also stayed to the Chalet on three seperate occasions. From the friendly welcome from Tony at check in to the cozy cabins with the many extras that you don't get at a hotel, it's a great value. I highly recommend it to families with kids. Having a full kitchen and laundry is a great convenience. Everything is clean and comfortable.

Chickasaw Chalet is a very relaxing place to go. We have been visiting them for the last 6 years - always request the same cabin! We especially love the family atmosphere and the beauty of the property. Our family also enjoyed the nightly community campfires for marshmallow roasting. You will need to bring some books to read as you sit on your front porch in the rockers on a lazy afternoon. We would sit in the hot tub at night and watch the stars through the leaves of the trees. The kitchens are stocked with pots and pans so you will be able to cook your food if you want. It truly is our home away from home - we consider the owners part of the family now!
