What a great place to relax. Lake front access. Quiet neighborhood. Wonderful property owners. A nice casino and restaurants just 15 min walk from the property. This was our second stay at this property. Can't say enough good things about it.

Suzana is the most accommadating and wonderful person to work with. The home is perfect, feels so comfortable with all the necessities and then more of home! The pool and hottub are great and I personally loved being able to walk around the grounds of Lowes and the golfcourses. Suzanna was very organized and left coupons, brochures, she thought of everything...even a key card for the grocery store! We have stayed at Lake Las Vegas many times, but never at such a home that actually felt like home. We will definately be back!

I know vacation rentals are a business. There's the forms, the releases, the funds, etc... the difference with the Rutars is that you quickly forget the business part. From the first email to the time I left, I felt like a friend or family member who had been tossed the keys and told to enjoy ourselves.
The home is filled with personal touches, a very homey and comfortable place that encourages you to settle in and get to relaxing. We had everything we needed to do what we wanted, and then some.
We used the home to base camp our activities from, we're a very outdoors couple. The location was great for us, being on the border of Lake Mead. Nearby highways allowed easy access to Arizona, Boulder City, Henderson. Those that enjoy the casino world have a great option on property and of course Vegas is just a short drive away.
If you're looking to relax and hang there, there was plenty to do as well. The Rutars have a few lake toys available, from chairs to inflatable kayaks to enjoy Lake Las Vegas. Their jetted tub was amazing (after a day at Red Rock, or in the canyons, those jets were AWESOME), and having a laundry room stocked and ready for a quick turn for gear was very helpful.
As usual, we had a few work related things pop up while there, and the Rutars have you covered. There was a small office corner, with computer, fax, printer and phone. The wireless internet worked well, too. Luckily we didn't spend much time 'at work'!
We wouldn't hesitate a moment in calling Suzana up again. The friendly, clean, comfortable experience we enjoyed there was wonderful.
