It's rustic interior boast Wormy Chestnut walls, original pine floors, open beam ceilings, fireplace, washer and dryer, cable TV, and free wireless internet! This historic air conditioned guest cottage was originally home to a caretaker of the flower farm that surrounded both this cottage and the Gardener's Cottage.   The house is great.. old.. big. The house is huge 1100 sq feet.. has 2 window a/c units.. the one in the smaller bedroom is right at your head but as long as you are the only one sleeping in the bed it should not be an issue. The bathroom is in between both bedrooms somewhat small but still good size they could use some rubber ducks or some kind of grippers in the tub. The house was very clean.. except for one small spot in the tub that had black spot (think it was mold). The house is all wood for a long time ago so some of the doors stick (so being able to push or pull is sometimes required). The house is on the 2nd floor and the steps are on the outside so you would need to be able to go up @12 steps. The steps outside are painted but do have grippers so would not fall down them. The parking is under the awning so at least if it is raining once you get down the steps you are able to get into the car without further rain. The Gardener Cottage is literally next door (same parking area) but we never saw nor heard the people staying there. The property was great and would come back again. For someone that likes rustic and/or old houses this place would make them very happy. The do have tv in the living room area. They do have wi fi but we figured it must be in the Gardener cottage has it was very low and spotty at best.
