We're here for the 2nd time and will be back again with friends who will stay in the smaller cabin nearby. This time we stayed in the larger of the two cabins. Perfect for us (2 humans, 2 canines). Sufficient kitchen space and a new gas range/oven. The enclosed and covered porch is great for viewing the wooded area around two sides of the cabin and for getting dogs out of the way/to play on. It's amazing to be tucked away in the mountains yet just a few minutes away from a new, well-stocked Ingles. And Starbucks ;) Internet & Wifi are good. Thanks, Landen & Benny!

Columbus, OhioAll Cabins Should Be Like This!
Left on 04/30/2013 for a stay in April 2013
We stayed 3 nights, with our 3 small dogs, and loved every minute. We were in the smallest (single room) cabin--a tryout to see if we're ready to hit the road in an RV. The cabin itself is delightful--if we were to build a getaway in the mountains or at a lake, it's exactly what we'd want. As for the experience, our hostess Landon couldn't be nicer or more helpful. The grounds are beautiful, especially in spring as the nearby orchards were just coming into bloom. The cabins (there's a larger one) are about a 10 minute drive east of Hendersonville and easy to find (Landon gives great directions) even though we arrived after dark. It's a cinch in the daylight. All the equipment (stove, fridge, micro, TV with satellite dish) you'd want are there--but you need to check about WiFi if you need to use your computer. We're retirees so that wasn't a problem for us. We bought a home in Hendersonville (househunting was the reason for our trip) and will definitely be recommending these cabins when/if we have overflow guests, or just to those we know would love the place as much as we did.

Belews Creek NCMinimalist Does Not Have to Mean Crummy!

We stayed in the smaller of the two cabins and enjoyed ourselves very much. As you can see from the pics it is tiny but it's clean as a whistle and has all the "basics" you'll need ... When we return (and we will) I'm going to bring a few cooking utensils and mixing/salad bowl to use with what's already in the kitchen. No ticky-tacky dust catchers (I hate those!) It's quiet and beautiful and they allow dogs... what more do you need? And BTW the hosts are as nice as can be!

The dogs and I had a great time staying at Green Mountain Lodge. Accomodations were lovely, wonderful paddock for the dogs to play in, plenty of places to explore, and great shopping in Hendersonville and all along the country roads. Loved it! Highly recommend!

I have stayed in the cabins with my dogs several times and the dogs have stayed by themselves. Extremely happy with the care and service Landen provides.

Charlotte, NCMy home away from home!
Left on 01/06/2012 for a stay in October 2011
I'm a repeat customer at Green Mountain. I first visited July, 2008 and have been back 2-3 times a year since. I've stayed in both cabins depending on my needs. Landen is a wonderful hostess and makes me feel right at home. My dog Frankie often accompanies me and loves it there. The fenced 3 acre pasture where he can run may have something to do with that. The cabins have all the comforts necessary for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The kitchens are fully equipped so you don't have to go anywhere if you don't want to. The location is very convenient to Hendersonville and asheville. I love it here and try to stay as often as I can get away.

From the large pasture the dogs can run in to the nearby hiking it would be hard to find a more dog friendly location. The cabin is in good shape with a nice kitchen and cozy bedroom. The owners are friendly and dedicated to ensuring their guests enjoy their stay.
