Cottage adjoins owners cottage and garden is shared - there is a private patio area by the door. Cottage is clean and well equipped - best parking is a little way up the street but is secure in a church car park. Centre of Henfield is a short walk away and has a good selection of shops. It is a good base to tour round this area and there is lots to see and do. We went to Brighton on the bus from Henfield High Street and this was the easiest way - do ask the driver where to get off near the Royal Pavilion as there is no terminus in Brighton the bus goes round and comes out again. South Downs are lovely.

In a lovely, quiet location next to the church, the Old Tudor Cottage Annex it is very well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. We especially liked the fresh eggs from the hens at the bottom of the garden. The owners were very welcoming and helpful providing lots of maps and local information. It is only a short walk from the village of Henfield which has several good pubs and a variety of small shops. It is an ideal base from which to explore East Sussex.
