This cottage was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed with plenty of space for us and our 3 young children. We all enjoyed joining in with the activities on the farm and the playground also, was great for the children. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We had good weather for april and had plenty of opportunities to explore the local area with its wealth of lovely walks etc.The highlight was being able to swim in the pool every day, particularly as it was lovely and warm and the booking system meant that you could reserve a session for private use before each day and plan your other activities accordingly.

We felt welcome in this cottage, which is based on a farm. Our children enjoyed collecting eggs in the morning and helping to feed the animals. The most relaxing part of the holiday was the hour and a half each day of exclusive use of the indoor pool and sauna, where you can recline and watch the geese potter about through the windows. Plenty of pretty walks from the village and lots for children to do in the area. Ours enjoyed visiting Eureka in Halifax and the National Mining Museum near Wakefield. The cottage was clean and cosy.
