Beautiful villa with its own swimming pool, gorgeous views of the mountains, vineyards, olive groves and the sea. This villa is centrally located, and easy accessible to the airport, city of Heraklion and the beach. Near the Palace of Knossos, the Historical and Archeological Museum you can enjoy all this and then come and relax in front of the swimming pool and admire the views.

We stayed in villa Irini in aug 2012 with our two teenage children. The villa was spotlessly clean with very well equiped and spacious rooms, that were furnished to a very high standard whilst still keeping a lovely home like quality. The surroundings were stunning with amazing panoramic views and a lovely private pool. Jocelyne was a perfect hostess, not intrusive but always on hand if we needed anything and a mine of local information, she did everything possible to make our holiday special and I have to say she succeeded!

Villa Irini was just wonderful. My three daughters and my folks spend ten days staying at this fantastic villa. We arrived at night and woke up to the
spectacular views the next morning. Even more impressive than the pictures. The villa had everything we needed from beach towels to extra coffee filters. The owner has thought of everything. The location is beautiful. We took a short walk into the village for a few grocery items and the restaurant located within the village center is fantastic.
I also cannot say enough positive things about the owner of the villa. Jocelyne met us at the villa when we arrived. She came over for a few brief visits to give advice on things to see, restaurants in the area and great little treats. (raki!)
I enjoyed my stay very much and my daughters and folks did too.

I stayed here for 2 weeks in July 2009 with my husband and his family. It is a short drive from the Heraklion airport. This was my first trip to Greece so I did not know what to expect. Upon arriving at Villa Irini, I was happy to find that it were very nice, clean, and safe. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms so there was plenty of room for all of us. The view from our patio was beautiful mountains and vineyards- the perfect place to enjoy drinks and watch the sunsets! The first night we were there we walked to a local restaurant where we sat outside and listened to a live Greek band and drank Ouzo. We spent several days reading and relaxing by our private pool. We also used Irini as our home base taking several day trips. Our day trips included visiting Knossos Palace, hiking the Samaria Gorge, visiting Hersonissos, and visiting the island of Santorini! We also took a ship, departing from the Heraklion Port, for an overnight trip to athens! Downtown Heraklion has a Bazaar on the weekends and is lively in the evening. The owner, Jocelyne, was extremely nice and helpful. She greeted us upon arrival and gave us many recommendations on where to eat and what to see. I recommend staying here if you want to relax, but also be close to many attractions.

Our family had a wonderful 2 week holiday here. The villa had an outstanding panorama as well as being extremely comfortable and spacious. The views were incredible day and night. The pool was lovely, and because you were a little higher up you got amazing breezes which kept you cool.
Our host, Jocelyne, was one of the best we have encountered ever in our many years of travel. She made sure we had everything we possibly needed, from Greek Coffee to homemade Sangria. It is worth the visit just to meet Jocelyne and experience the care she shows
I would certainly recommend her villas and in fact the lovely island of Crete.
