Hermanus is almost at the tip of Africa on the Cape Whale Coast, a beautiful seaside setting with rugged cliffs, its spectaular cliff paths, two sparkling blue bays and a backdrop of the Kleinriviersberge mountains. The area offers a wide variety of activities, things to see and do, sport, art and cuisine. This part of the coast is best known for superb Eco-adventures such as whale watching, great white shark cage diving, sea kayaking and deep sea fishing. Other attractions include the famous 20 km long unspoilt and pristine Blue Flag Grotto Beach, excellent golfing, superb bird watching, mountain trails, paragliding and much, much more.

Our stay was wonderfully comfortable with spacious accommodation, including a large garden. The living accommodation has been done up to a high standard and is very light and clean. The location is also superb, being within a short walking distance of the town's centre, main shops and restaurants, and the cliff paths - we had amazing views of whales from the cliffs just minutes away from the property. We will definitely be staying here again!

We found a friendly welcome, a clean, spacious and well run home with a couple of additional cottages (if needed) and set in plenty of outdoor space. A very happy place to be! I was joined by my sister and brother-in law, also from the UK, and there was plenty of room for us to enjoy a lovely peaceful holiday. We loved the location - within easy walking distance from the restaurants and shops of the town, stunning walks along the cliff paths, and a short ride to the beaches. Perfect to take advantage of the variety Hermanus has to offer. Definitely a place to come back to on my next visit to South Africa.

We enjoyed that fact that we could go away with other families and yet retreat to our own space when needed. It was a beautiful setting, on a large property that was ideal for a couple of families to spend a weekend or holiday together.
The property is large so the kids played outdoors and it was well equipped for a comfortable stay away!
We loved our time there and would highly recommend it.
