We had an wonderful, relaxing week at this beautiful vacation home. It is absolutely spectacular inside and out. The home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We saw exotic birds and monkeys playing in the trees by the pool, and watched beautiful sunsets every evening. Can't say enough about the awesome view! We enjoyed cooking fresh fish and produce we bought at the market, as well as dinners at great local restaurants. The walk down to the beach club, and back up the hill is worth every step. A beautiful resort in a beautiful country!

Casa Cielo azul is the ideal setting for a relaxing getaway with a group of friends or family. Located in a gated community on the Marriot Los Suenos property in Costa Rica, the home offers luxurious privacy, yet is conveniently located to take advantage of all the Marriot has to offer. We spent a week at this home with three other couples and better accommodations could not be found anywhere!
When you enter the house there is a gorgeous spiral staircase up to the second story master bedroom suite complete with large private terrace, comfortable library with sofa and tv, large bedroom, and bathroom with shower and whirlpool tub. On the first floor is a living room, dining area, and huge kitchen with granite countertops and stainless appliances. Down a long hallway are four additional bedrooms, each with it’s own bathroom, and a laundry room. The entire home is furnished absolutely beautifully, with such details as beamed and hand painted ceilings and gorgeous floor tiles.
As nice as the inside of the house is, the best part is what is outside in the back. The ocean view is unbelievable! The magnificent view can be enjoyed from either the second floor terrace, or from the first floor where there is a large covered seating area with sofas and tables and chairs, a beautiful infinity pool, a hot tub, and gorgeous lush landscaping. Every day we would sit in that hot tub and watch the toucans, monkeys and other wildlife visit the tree right next to us! The entire experience was like being in paradise!
Although it would be easy to go to Casa Cielo azul and never leave the house, there is, of course, much to do and experience in Costa Rica. The tour office right at the Marriot was able to arrange private tours for our group to visit Manual antonio National Park, Arenal Volcano and more. There were also great restaurants nearby, both at the marina and just outside the Marriot property. The Stay in Costa Rica office that manages the property was very helpful, answering our questions and ordering taxis for us.
I highly recommend a stay at Casa Cielo azul for a group of 8-10 people! Definitely five stars!! -

We stayed with 3 other couples in Casa Cielo azul in December, 2011, and had the time of our lives! The ocean views from this home are simply outstanding! There is a beautiful, huge outdoor terrace right off the kitchen with comfy outdoor furniture - a perfect place for the 8 of us to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner. We loved swimming and cooling off in the gorgeous infinity pool. Evenings in the hot tub were a great way to relax and unwind with our private view of pure paradise. We enjoyed seeing Toucans and other varieties of birds right from our terrace! Every room in this home is exquisitely decorated, yet at the same time, we felt that this home was so comfortable, warm and inviting. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed - a perfect place to have our morning coffee and breakfast while enjoying a view of the sunrise. Casa Cielo azul is so conveniently located on the grounds of the Los Suenos Marriott property. It was a short walk to the Marriott hotel, and some really nice restaurants at the marina. This is one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed - we highly recommend it!
