      Perfect for a group getaway!!

Left on 05/10/2013 for a stay in May 2013

We stayed in Norton View Farm as an extended family, ages ranging from 4-86yrs. Everyone of us was thrilled when we first entered the property, it def has the wow factor. There are 2 very large superkingsize rooms with fab ensuites, a twin with pull out beds, accomodating 2 adults and 2 young children comfortably, a twin and a sofa type bed in the snug. The family bathroom had a roll top bath plus walk in shower. The garden is designed to appear to include an adjacent field, giving the feel that the sheep/chickens etc are in the garden! The hot tub is a definate pull, we enjoyed a few glasses of fizz while relaxing. The owners were helpful and all information was in the house when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked, dining table huge and allowed sociable evening games of cards etc. Would highly recommend and would visit again!!

The cottage was everything we had hoped for and more. Exceptionally clean and fantastically furnished. Extremely well equipped kitchen and a practical boot room that coped with all our outdoor gear.
The area was full of lovely walks and great for Skipton which had a fantastic choice of eateries.
Would love to visit Norton View Farm again as we felt we didn't complete our list of "things to do" and "places to visit" lists !

      Fantastic break

Left on 09/16/2012 for a stay in September 2012

We have just had a few days at Norton View with our 3 year old grandson and a30th birthday celebration The photos dont do the property justice. A lot of thought has gone into the renevation and decoration of this house. The oak used in the house is fantastic from the enormouse dining table that seats 11 to the oak doors and staircase. There is a huge kitchen equipt with everything you could possibly need. Everywhere is spotless and really comfy beds and well equipt bathrooms. The hot tub was a favorite with a fantastic view over the hills and a large garden laid to grass ideal for football. I would definatly recomend this accommodation and would love to have been able to live there..

      Beautiful cottage

Left on 09/14/2012 for a stay in September 2012

I had my hen party here, there were 11 of us and we were all surprised at how gorgeous the place was. The interior is just stunning, it looks like no expense was spared when decorating. The view from the garden is amazing, we all thoroughly enjoyed the luxury of a hot tub. We made use of the BBQ and were able to sit outside to enjoy the warm night. We all had a fantastic time. My friends and I are eager to go back again, and will be making a repeat booking soon.

An ideal house for a family get together - everything you could

Left on 09/11/2012 for a stay in July 2012

In the past we have rented a number of cottages and houses for our family holiday, this ranks amongst the very best. The cleanliness in all areas of the property is superb. The house is tastefully furnished and caters well for a large party. There is everything you want in the very large and modern kitchen. The large dining room caters well for diners with a good sized table and chairs to seat everyone. The sitting room is somewhat small but has ample comfortable sofas. The bedroooms are of a good size with comfortable beds and well equipped modern bathrooms. The view from the garden is fantastic with an uninterrupted view across the countryside. The hot tub was well used for relaxation by most of our party and all enjoyed chilling out. Hetton is within "striking distance" of Skipton and the rest of the Dales with plenty to do for all ages. We had a wonderful holiday. Thank you!

      I could live there!

Left on 06/04/2012 for a stay in May 2012

The cottage is fantastic. By far the best holiday rental me and my friends stayed in. We spent 3 nights for a relaxing hen party and It couldn't have been better! The views are great, the jacuzzi is something else, and the baby lambs at the bottom of the garden are so cute... The cottage inside is beautiful with so much space, and the beds are amazing. We probably could fit four of us in each double bed!!!

Mrs Carr is also very helpful and the added complimentary biscuits, dishwasher tablets etc. made our stay extra special.

I would recommend this cottage to any group wanting a countryside break!

      Absolutely amazing!

Left on 05/30/2012 for a stay in May 2012

Me and my friends have just stayed in this beautiful cottage for my friends hen weekend. There was 10 of us, all aged 21 or 22. We were looking for something luxurious and fairly remote but not too far from local amenities and we couldn't have found anything more perfect if we had tried. The house is absolutely stunning, all of us commented on how pictures just do not do it justice. The decor and furnishings were gorgeous, the beds so comfy and the view from the cottage was breathtaking. The cottage is very spacious and perfect for a group of friends or a large family.
We had a weekend of sunshine so were able to sit in the garden every day we were there. The sheep were definitely a talking point, especially the lambs! :D
I can not say enough positive things about this cottage and the owners! I called the owner yesterday to inform her that i had left some of my belongings at the cottage and to see if she would post them back to me and she couldn't have been any more helpful or friendly!
I definitely would return to the amazing place, me and the girls have already talked about returning again next year if we can. Do not hesitate to book, i promise you will not regret it! :)

I shouldn't say a word because the place will get booked out, but the owner is lovely and I wish her every success! The cottage is the most beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean house I've ever been in, with so much character, and the view from the hot tub is amazing. Great social spaces, lovely dining area, beautifully equipped throughout. Gorge walking at How Stean and the Three Peaks Challenge are nearby for the energetic, with Harrogate Baths, tea and cakes for the rest of us! The local pub is brilliant for dinner too, with great beer. Definitely going back.

Brilliant! superb location, and fantastic accomodation.

Left on 03/13/2012 for a stay in March 2012

There were 11 of us staying over the weekend at this farmhouse.

We found the house very spacious, with excellent facilities. The rooms are amazing, and everything is finnished to a high standard. It is very comfortable and there is a good outside space with excellent views.

The hot tub was not high on the agenda whilst searching for a rental, but when you go and stay here you must try it. It is amazing, and now a minimum requirment for anywhere else we stay!

We had lunch at the pub nearby, and it was very good. We also went to the trout farm at www.kilnseypark.co.uk, for a bit of fishing. Its a great spot, and the little pond they have set up for the children looks great.

We will be back here again, really enjoyed the stay. Top class.
