This was a wonderful secluded retreat. Everything we needed except for food was provided.We had a great time relaxing and getting to know our future daughter-in-law. the area was very quiet and the cabin was well kept and comfortable. We were only about 15 minutes from shopping if we wanted to. The owners were helpful, but did not intrude. We would definitely consider staying here again!

I have stayed in several different cabins at different times of the year, and each time I was more pleased than the last. My favorite has to be "Almost Heaven". It is just that , almost heaven. It is secluded and private. The perfect spot to spend with that special someone to relax and reconnect. The staff is always so helpful and understanding of what I want. Special attention is given to the cleaning and care of the cabins,which is so appreciated when you are just wanting to drop your bags and let the fun begin ! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone, and I have.

We stayed at this lovely cabin setting after the terrible storm hit WV and left this area without electric power. Cindi did her best to make us feel comfortable - bringing us candles and flashlights to help us in the dark. The cabin itself couldn't have been nicer - clean and fresh feeling.

Great customer service. I was hesitant about staying her because they allowed pets but I was blown away with how clean the cabins were. The cabins are about a 15 minute drive from adventures on the Gorge campus. Pros: cleanliness, friendly owners, spacious, hot tub, private Cons: matress are not that comfortable but heck after some wine and the hot tub who cares.

Dh and I rented this wonderful cabin for the Memorial Day weekend just to get away from the daily grind. We left our home, near the Charleston WV area on Friday afternoon for a quick drive to the Country Road Cabins. This was only about an hour or so drive from Charleston. Check in is at 4pm, if you need to arrive late, just give them a call. We drove up to the lodge area and were informed that we just needed to go to our cabin. Very friendy and to the point. The keys were awaiting us. We stayed in Laurel, which is a one bedroom. The cabin was cool and was waiting for us with a bottle of chilled champagne, perfect for mimosa the next morning. I was totally suprised at how clean the cabin was, no problems at all, we were wondering if we were the first to ever stay in the cabin, that is how clean it was. There is a nice living area, kitchen area with the basic kitchen needs, the bathroom is off from the nice sized bed room. The cabin was decorated nice in a UaS/ America type theme. There is a fan in the bed room as well as in the living room area(also aC in cabin), which was very nice. The cabin had extra blankets and pillow's, dishes, cooking needs etc... all there. The grill was very nice as it cooked very fast! If you like a cutting board, bring it, otherwise everything else is there. There is a nice deck with the hot tub. I can not express how clean the hot tub was. They claim they drain the water and refill after every rental. I have not reason to feel this is untrue. We rented this to just relax and do nothing at all. So we took all of our food etc with us, as we did not want to leave. However, if you do want to go out and mtn bike, raft, hiking, shopping and of course hit one of the coolest small towns in the us, you are able to do so. Fayetteville is just a few miles away and the entire area has so many wonderful outdoor activities to enjoy! We live close and are able to enjoy this anytime. the grill ran out of gas, in no time they responded and filled up the tank! Great vacation!!

The cabin was beyond expectations. My troupe and I had a bachelor party at the cabins with a rafting trip planned. The cabin met every need and provided comlete relaxation before and after the trip. Perfect for an extreme weekend getaway. Absolutley every need filled: sleeping arangements, stocked kitchen supplies, recovery jaccuzi. Thanks guys!

The cabin was beautiful, everything was new and nice and wonderfully decorated. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary gadgets, even a corkscrew! The hot tub was an excellent amenity with a large deck for seating an hanging out. The bathrooms were spotless and the beds were super comfortable. The service was excellent and the staff was very welcoming and thought of everything. I would highly recommend vacationing here!
