Description from the owner
This spacious cabin was built in 2007 with rustic pine decor, wood burning rock fireplace, living room, game room with pool table, 4 spacious bedrooms with queen beds (3 bedrooms also have bunkbeds for additional sleeping area), full kitchen with all amenities, dining room, cable TV, wrap around deck which overlooks stream that winds through the front of the property. The cabin is set on 3 acres, which makes for plenty of room for yard games, baseball, and place for kids to run and play. The cabin is bordered by Black Hills National Forest. A beautiful rock path leads down to the creek were a sitting area and log benches await.

This beautiful cabin is located 2 miles from Rochford within the Black Hills National Forest. Rochford is located 20 miles South of historic Deadwood/Lead, SD. We are located in the heart of the Black Hills. Snowmobile trails are just a few miles up the road, ATV trails are within 1 mile, bike trails within .5 miles, and South Dakota's best skiiing is within 20 minutes. Hill City is 22 miles south of the cabin, which is the gateway for Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Monument, and Needles Highway. Deerfield lake is just 15 minutes South of the cabin were you can fish, hike, swim, or boat.

Our group was looking for an inexpensive place to hold our dinner. We arrived at our off the beaten path destination to find a wonderful cabin with all the kitchen amenities we needed to make our dinner, a breathtaking view and all the comforts of home. We spent the weekend playing pool, relaxing and watching the snow fall while we sat inside snuggled up with a fire going. No internet, No cell phone just peace and quiet. There was a phone there that those of us with kids were able to give our babysitters in case of an emergency and that put most of us at ease leaving technology behind. We way over packed expecting to need things, the cabin was very well stocked with most of our needs and next time we will know we don't need near as much. We will defiantly be using this cabin again for our group. Everyone was extremely pleased and impressed by how nice it was.
