Remarkably beautiful location, away from the tourist spots but close to activities. Swimming wonderful in protected lagoons. Locals very friendly and helpful. Complex is quiet and it feels like old Hawaii. Unit is very comfortable and decorated with great taste. View and patio balcony wonderful for relaxing. Management very responsive to any special needs or requests. Would definitely stay here're again. Feels like home instead of resort !

Stayed for a month. Great view of the park. Good value.
Was surprised there was no dishwasher in the unit.Also, the Lani table and chairs were quite 'flimsy'. Bought some folding beach chairs at Walmart and also used them when we went to the park and other places as well.
Overall, a very good rental experience. I had no need to contact the property management company once we arrived in Hilo. -

The frosted white glass door to the bathroom is a little strange ? But overall the place is one of the nicest condos i've stayed in.

the place was very nice, I always like a place with a good view and this one is great. The first morning we found the coffee maker not working,and that day we had a new one in the box!! that's great service.

Although the swimming cove outside was nice we were very unhappy with the state of the building. The pictures were deceptive - the building is horribly moldy and smelly. When I called about the WIFI no effort at all was made to solve the problem of logging on. Generally a bad experience, we left a night early to find a better place for our final night in Hawaii.

While we cannot do anything about the exterior of the condo building, we do insure that the units we manage are impeccably cleaned and cared for, which they all are. The condo was immaculate, very comfortable and well-supplied. It is conveniently located near Hilo, groceries, gas, the farmers' market etc. The beach park outside is beautiful with crystal clear water, not crowded, and even a very large, very inquisitive turtle. However, because of the freshwater rivers, the water is very cold!

With excellent security, front door access to the beautiful bay with turtles and countless tropical fish, high ceilings and comfortable beds, we could not have asked for more. The fresh fish restaurant across the street was amazing and the parking place provided allowed us to have a rental car to explore the island for our whole stay. Truly a home away from home in Hilo. I have already recommended this to my Japanese colleague who will visit soon and we will stay there again if we are back in Hilo this year. Six thumbs up (there were three people in our party).

The condo had everything needed and the people there were so friendly. Even tho it rained for 5 days, we still enjoyed our time there. The pond/beach was so beautiful! Got a chance to swim on our last day there and it so refreshing. It's next to Carlsmith Park and I would recommend this place...

This apartment was lovely, clean and in a great location, easy to cool with crossbreezes, fantastic for a family. Lovely books to look at.
