Located on the second floor of the Barrington Court building, 211 Barrington offers views of the lagoon, pool, and grounds with the ocean beyond from the living room and both bedrooms. A balcony can be accessed through sliding doors in the living room and master bedroom. There is a 37" flat screen TV in the living room.
The master bedroom has a king bed, 32" flat screen TV and private bath with Jacuzzi/shower combination. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and access to the hall bath also with Jacuzzi/shower combination.

Start with the positive - The unit location had a great view of the ocean and the complex was great - the grounds well maintained, pool heated.
The unit itself was a little dated - the bathroom vanities and kitchen. The refrigerator made a terrible noise, but was replaced with a brand new one within 24 hours! The unit was very clean, just a little run down.Response from Resort Rentals of Hilton Head Island - 05/17/2013

Our intended unit had a water leak so we got moved. The new accommodations worked out fine other than we didn't have a workout facility. We did like looking at the ocean and having a heated pool.

Our family had a wonderful stay in HHI last week. This was our first time renting through RR of HHI and we were very pleased with our experience. The one or maybe two calls that we made to RR during our stay were handled very quickly and everyone seemed very friendly and helpful – wonderful service.
Regarding Barrington 211 itself, I couldn’t find a pen to report on our damage form that there was one broken drinking glass – we didn’t break it but found it already broken in the cabinet – we just threw it out. Everything seemed to be in pretty good working order but the kitchen and bath fixtures and appliances are all getting pretty dated. The microwave seemed to have a hot spot that overcooked the center of some items – especially popcorn. Beds were so-so – not very comfortable. Decorations were pleasant – it was nice not to have knick knacks everywhere - and the family room and dining room furnishings were among the best we’ve seen at a beach place. It was nice NOT to have glass tabletops everywhere.

First vacation with entire family in three years and it was worth the wait. We had a great time and the condo was just what we needed and very comfortable. The view was great because you can see the ocean through the trees and the pool and the well kept grounds. The beach is so close, the access bridge over the dunes was directly below our unit. We plan to visit and stay here again in the future.

We have stayed in this unit before and have enjoyed it very much. The accomodations are getting a little dated and as a family we discussed looking into a different unit for the "next time". We have stayed in Palmetto Dunes area on 5 different occasions and we just love it!
