A lot of Hilton Head Condos sit very far back from the Ocean. Some owners (shame on them) use telephoto lens when taking a photo of ocean view from patio. You won't need your binoculars to see the ocean here!
I searched and searched for a 2BR home that was direct oceanfront and that was close enough that you could sit on the couch and see the ocean! This is really an important feature especially for a winter time visit. This condo has one huge plate glass window and a large glass patio door so you literally can sit anywhere in the living room and see the ocean.Many of the condos at Hilton Head (especially newest ones) are located very far from the beach. You need binoculars to see the ocean. Another feature we really liked was the large deck. It had a table for 4 and then enough room left for another chair. So many of the condos have skinny little decks that you can barely fit two chairs on the patio. The furniture is large and comfy -- none of that cheapo rattan furniture that you often find at the beach. The master bedroom bed was wonderful-- very comfortable with a pillowtop. Patio doors there also provide a great view and access to the patio! The Folly Field beach is nice and wide and there is one great shelling area that you can walk to. There are great shopping carts and valet rolling units to get your groceries and luggage into the condo. The kitchen is well supplied. Also, the flat screen TV is large with lots of speakers. The wireless worked great and they gave you the code in the host booklet so you don't have to call owners to find that out. We brought our Roku and streamed videos and it worked great. We also had a small problem and the owners were unbelievably helpful and quick to resolve the issues. So, have a great time.
But you can still bring binoculars to see the dolphins up close!

Best location on Hilton Head. Best section of coast on Hilton Head. Condo well equipped. Nicely decorated. Having washer and dryer was a plus. Would stay at same place again.

This was our second year vacationing in this villa. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay! The ocean view, the wonderful weather as well as all of the fun places to visit and dine made for an exceptional vacation. We plan to return next year and bring along some close friends!

The rental agency was very friendly and helpful. We got there early on Saturday, we were unable to get in our room but we were given the code to use the pool and we were able to use the beach. The condo was very nice for the money. Reasonably easy access to the pool and ocean. It was our first time to Hilton Head so finding things on the Island was a little difficult. The beach was also a little more crowded then we were use to also, but we deffinitely would think about coming back.

My family and I were in Hilton Head for a wedding that took place at the Westin. When looking for a place to stay for the week, Sea Cloisters came highly recommended from friends who spent many summers there. When setting up the reservation, we received great communication!
The villa itself was GORGEOUS! It was both spacious and had a homey feel. The view of the ocean was fantastic and a beautiful sight to wake up to each morning! The place was very well taken care of!!!
We would love to stay there again and would also recommend it to any families looking to have a wonderful week together!!!!! :) -

Sea Cloisters is a very nice condominium complex between the "heel" and "arch" of Hilton Head's shoe shaped island. We had stayed at this complex five years ago, but in a different unit with a poorer view of the ocean. We decided to try this unit based on the ocean views presented on the vacation rental website and we were not disappointed. The unit is extremely nice with excellent furnishings, wireless internet, and satellite TV. Very comfortable and charming. Easy place to relax, yet still feel right at home. Sitting on the balcony and listening to the waves roll in and waking up to the oceanic sunrises made this unit one of our favorites.
Hilton Head Island has much to offer and this unit is conveniently located to most amenities. It is in a private, gated community that provides some sense of seclusion without being a hassle to get in and out of like the plantations.
One minor drawback is that there is no cell service inside the unit, or the building complex for that matter. This can be a plus for people who want to truly escape the rigors of daily life, but it can make it difficult to contact family and friends in case of an emergency.
We also recommend spending a day in Savannah (about 45 minutes from HHI) along River Street (River Walk specialty shops) and dining at either The Wilkes House (family style) or Paula Deen's The Lady and Sons. Both of these are much better than any options available on the island. The food at Hilton Head is just so-so. If you stay on the island, check out Frankie Bones and the Black Marlin. You can also ask for recommendations from locals or your friends. Avoid Nick's Steak and Seafood (and I am a Pittsburgh Steeler fan) and the Kingfisher. -
