The villa was very confortable for the five of us, but the blinds in the kitchen and living room did not work.Could not keep the sun off the kitchen or have the privecy in the mornings. The location of the beach walk has allways been the selling point for us for several years.My wife and I,and my children,and gran children love to walk to the beach use the pool, and go out dinner,ride our bikes on the beach,and just relax in the Shipyards setting.The best thing about Hilton Head is that the Island has not changed for all these years.The Island has aged well compaired to other vacation spots up and down the east coast.

A great alternative to the Crowne Plaza room rates except the downstairs air conditioning did not work and the wireless did not allow VPN. I suppose I could have called to complain but I'd expect the management staff to be aware of this since it was so obviously hot on the first floor. For a Crowne Plaza-based conference or event, I'd highly recommend a stay here.

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us in regards to your recent stay. We are one of the only rental companies on Hilton Head Island to do pre-arrival inspections before each guest arrival and post inspections after departure. We wish you would have contacted us because prior to your visit, our Property Manager reported that the A/C was functioning and reading 73 degrees. This inspection was done two days before your arrival. After your departure and during our follow up inspection it was discovered that the A/C needed to be recharged with Freon. Our HVAC Technician was able to get this resolved in less than an hour.
