Renovated Ocean View Unit in Folly Field Bright, sunny, comfortable villa with a great side oceanview from the 4th floor. Island Club is one of our Hilton Head Island rentals with great ocean views, and was completely renovated in 2008. Open floor plan as you are welcomed into the unit with nice beach decor and open living room and dining room. Fully equipped open kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. This is our second trip to Hilton Head Island and we stayed at Island Club both times. We are careful to pick out units that are recently remodeled. This unit did not disappoint. It was home away from home. Granite counter tops in the kitchen and in master bath. Clean and well stocked. Living room furniture like new. Nice ocean view from our balcony. Grounds are always well kept. Both our trips, this year and in 2008 were in May. I don't know if it is much more crowed in the summer. But the beaches have not been crowed on the trips we have taken. Life guard on duty on the beach. Building may look a little dated from the outside but it's immaculately kept. Parking is gated. Playground and pool for the kids. Feed the turtles at the lagoon! Located in what otherwise looks like a residential area. Hilton Head is a great, non commercial, family friendly vacation. We will be back.

We have been coming to the Island Club for over twenty years. During this time we have had the opportunity to stay in many different units but his one is far and away our favorite. We have stayed here for the last three years and have reserved the unit again for next summer. It is beautifully upgraded and nicely furnished. The owners seem to put forth a great deal of expense and effort to make this one of the most enjoyable units in the complex. We are already looking forward to our vacation next summer.

We've been to Island Club a total of four times and Unit 3404 is the best unit we've stayed in! The unit is in such great shape. The updates the owners have put into this condo made this such an enjoyable stay! The kitchen and bathrooms are just beautiful! The view from the unit is great, too. Each morning and evening we would sit outside and feel a great breeze while enjoying a beautiful view of the courtyard, beach and ocean.
Island Club is a wonderful place to stay. The grounds are always maintained well and the pools are great. The easy access to the beach is also nice.
If you're looking for a great place to enjoy Hilton Head, we would recommend Island Club and Unit 3404. The other units we have stayed in don't hold a candle to this one. -

Condo was spacious, with plenty of seating and sleeping
room. Very nicely decorated with lots of new upgrades.
The only downside about the facility is that the pool is
very small for the number of people that use it. Maybe a small pool somewhere else would help the crowdedness.
It was just difficult to find a chair and hard to relax in the
pool with so many people and kids. -

We really liked the location of the condo - it was so close to the beach that it was easy for us to get our things and children there quickly. The place was clean with the exception of the master bedroom balcony door which seems to have been broken for months and was growing mold on it (that is what it looked like)...which I don't believe is safe. The other complaint is that we were told that the place had Wifi high speed internet and for at least two of the days the internet was down and the days it did work it was extremely, extremely slow (I would not consider that high speed).

The master bedroom balcony door was ordered and has been scheduled to be replaced after the busy summer season. Interruptions in service for both internet and cable can occur from time to time and are generally related to weather conditions in our area or specific problems that can be traced back to the providers themselves.

This was our 3rd time to Hilton Head and our second time in Island Club 3404. Renovated condo and very spacious. All was great except the condo did not seem as clean this time upon our arrival. The showers needed to be cleaned prior to us using them but the rest of the place was fine. 3 roaches seen during our week stay but our friends at the Marriott had them also.

This property was recently updated and one of the nicest beach rentals we've ever had. Very comfortable, well stocked kitchen, nice view, quite, easy walk to the beach.
The pool seemed small for that many units, and was very crowded. -

We have been coming to the Island Club for about 18 years and usually stay for 2 weeks. We have stayed in many different units and have liked some more than others. We love the location of Island Club, close to shopping, a short walk to the beach and the Westin, and close to my parents, who live in Hilton Head Plantation. The staff at Island Club are very attentive to your needs and very friendly. Ruth and I are on a first name basis. I call every year and she knows who I am and always asks me how my parents are doing. My parents stayed at the Island Club before moving down to Hilton Head Island, which is how we found out about it. We have had several friends come down with their families and stay at the Island Club because we think a great vacation spot should be shared with friends and family.

I highly recommend this resort and room. We have been married for six years and of the six we have been to Hilton Head for four vacations. We have always stayed at the Island Club but Romm 3404 was by far the nicest. We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful accomidations/great value!

We just spent a week at the Island Club, Hilton Head. It was a LAST minute find and I will say we were very pleased. Our condo was recently updated and was beautiful, a great value. Our only complaint was we really would have like a 3 Bedroom unit, but because of our late booking, only a 2 bedroom was available. But the Island Club is a great place for families...right on the beach, tennis galore and bike rentals all within the club. I think our only real complaint was the kids club. The staff was not really very friendly and their effort was weak. We are compairing this experience to the Disney Resort at HH (no compairison)...But the rest of the staff at the Island club was great. If you are tennis people, I really recommend the free clinic on Mondays!

Our stay and experience was excellent. After getting the air conditioning re-charged the 2nd day things were terrific. The unit was updated and very comfortable. There were no noise problems and we had a great time. We have stayed at the Island Club for several years and will be coming back again.

Good for neat freaks :)

Very nice condo that was recently redone. Our family are neat freaks so the niceness of this condo was very welcome. All of the amenities in the condo worked great (hey, they are brand new!) and the washer/dryer were both very good quality and handy to have. The internet access was a plus although it was slow compared to what I'm used to. It was usuable though so I have no complaint.
Personally I like most of Hilton Heads beaches but the location of this condo is as good as any so nothing but positives with regards to the location of the Island Club. Having the nice deck facing the ocean on this unit was also a big plus as it gives nice scenery as well as a good location to store sandy items between visits to the beach.
I was also impressed with the staff at the Island Club. They did a good job not only of taking care of the property (saw them maintenancing several items while we were there) but also of planning activities for the kids. In short, the resort is still very nice and well maintained despite it obviously being likely 20+ years old.
If we return to Hilton Head next year it's likely we will try to rent this same condo.
