Lagoon View Townhouse Style Unit in Folly Field This is a two bedroom, 2.5 bath, 2nd & 3rd floor townhouse style unit. One of our Hilton Head villa rentals, Island Club 106 is a lagoon view unit. King in the master, 2 twins in the guest bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. TV, DVD, and CD stereo in the living room. TV in the master bedroom. TV in the guest bedroom. Remodeled unit with updated furniture and carpet. Very pretty, spacious, and creatively decorated - has a great "beach feel"! Pools, tennis, exercise room and jacuzzi, summer kids programs, playground and BBQ area on site. High speed internet.

This was the third time at this destination, family members from various states meet every other year to enjoy the company, amenities, comfort, weather and many other activities. The condo was very clean , spacious and bright. We all just love it there. Service was great and friendly from the check-in to security to the cleaning service. The only comment I would make is that we feel the complex shuts down a little early, knowing this is in the by laws of the permanent residents, but people go there on vacation and might want to enjoy the pool or hot tub a little later without time constraints. All in all we had a great time.

We had a another wonderful time staying at the Island Club. It was our first stay in #106, and we found the accomodations to be perfect for us. The beach was just a short walk away and the pool was very close. We absolutely love the Island Club and will be back for years and years.

The Island club as a resort is a great resort, which has all the amenities of a beach resort, proximity to the beach, Tennis courts, swimming pool and jacuzzi. The grounds are well maintained and really appreciated the barbecue grills conveniently located to the condos. If i had one improvement I would say that the pool is a bit small, so another one would probably be more better suited for the size of the resort. The place in general is clean and tidy. The tennis courts are well maintained. The condo we stayed in, 106, was very spacious, and had everything we needed. It was relatively clean and everything worked. Enjoyed the huge TV, and large bedrooms. Certainly did not feel cramped as it was a 2 level condo, with the bedrooms upstairs. As an improvement the fixtures and fittings are dated and need replacement. The furniture in the living room is comfortable, however dated. The bedroom beds will need replacement soon. The outdoor patio furniture was not cleaned, and table was off to the end so not really usefull. In general, although practical, comfortable and spacious, I would recommend a remodelling of this condo.
Overall we had a great vacation in Hilton Head. The beaches are great, and really enjoyed the bike pathways and Kayaking too. Will definitely come again. If you like surf fishing, great place to catch baby sharks off the surf. -

We have been to Island Club before. This was the first time in the townhouse section. Although a little further walk to the beach, the condo layout was perfect for a family.

Unit was very reasonable and had a good location. Carpets were stained but my understanding is that new carpet is being installed. Once that happens I would give it a much higher rating. Kitchen was well stocked!

This was the 2nd time we visited Hilton Head Island and it never disappoints...the Island Club was awesome, convenient to beach, great pool, clean...just a fantastic week. The only negative I can think of is that we had to leave...well until next time!!

Condo was nice enough for our needs and priced right! Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, etc. and even had a hand mixer. Laundry right in the unit was wonderful. Closest possible condo to pool in the complex. One of the farthest from the beach in this complex, however, beach was still a very short walk (at the end of a very long parking lot). Carpet is showing its wear in the unit and beds in the non-master perhaps also showing their age but overall it met our needs very well. We stayed with two familes in this unit, 5 total young kids, and found it was a decent size to accomodate us all. The price was right--everything we needed while not necessarily any luxuries. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean and functional.

This was our first time in Hilton Head. There were two couples and one two year old. The condo was immaculate and plenty of space for our group. The beach was an easy walk and the complex had great amenities. We were super lucky to be able to stay over Memorial Weekend.

This two-bedroom condo was just right. We had 5 adults and 4 preschoolers, and the owner assured us that it was OK for that many. She was right---the bedrooms were upstairs, so we could put the kids down and have some adult time downstairs. The condo also had lots of kids' beach toys.
No problems booking or moving in or moving out---everyone was quite pleasant.
The best part was the beach---wide and uncrowded. We also took advantage of the pool(s) and tennis. I regret not using the beautiful gas grill outside, and we didn't have time to rent bikes to ride on the beach. Maybe next time---and there will be a next time! -

We stayed here in 2001, and the upgrades are nice to see! Two of our kids and their spouses stayed next door in 107, so it was great to be close together and yet still each family had their own space. It was very convenient to the pool for our 7-mo old grandaughter. The guest book was a nice personal touch.
The apartment was very clean overall. The only thing I would recommend is that when it could be scheduled, a thorough cleaning be done of the floors--there is some kind of smell (mildew?--not hugely noticeable) that strikes you upon entry, that a good scrub-cleaning of the tiles and carpet would probably take care of completely and make the apartment feel even cleaner.
The staff at the Island Club is amazing in their customer service! -

Great vacation get-away!

Our family has been to Hilton Head many times, and we all agreed that we'd like to stay in this unit again. It was spacious, clean, and well-appointed (having a 3rd TV was great to keep 2 teenagers from fighting!). The washer and dryer in the unit meant I didn't have to spend the entire day after vacation doing laundry. We could easily walk to the beach in just a couple of minutes. We highly recommend this property.

We've been familiar with the Island Club for years, and we've never been disappointed with our rentals. We certainly enjoyed our time at #106 and can understand why the family who owns it has created wonderful memories in it. Everything was clean and neat, and we got a very warm feeling staying there. Even though it was the end unit and near the entrance gate, it was quiet and peaceful. We also enjoyed the wildlife that so entertained us from the lagoon.
We definitely would recommend it to others. Just 1 tip: we couldn't find potholders! Other than that--great!
