The best part of our vacation was the condo we stayed in. Although the condo is in a very busy section of Hilton Head it was like an oasis. We loved the spaciousness and accomadations - loved that it was private. It seemed to be the type of condo that owners liked to come to and stay for weeks at a time rather than just purchasing as an investment just for rental income. We took three teenage boys with us and felt very comfortable letting them roam freely in the area to shops and the park. Loved it.

For the last 10+ years we have been using apple-Vacations where everything was included; air, lodging and food.
This year we decided to stay in the states. We had heard a lot about Hilton Head from other friends and decided to venture in a new direction. What a great surprise!!!
This was one of the best, most relaxing vacations we have had in a long time. Everything was close at hand the beach, the pool, bicycling, shopping, sightseeing, and no reservations were needed in advance.
The residence that we stayed in was clean, neat, provided enough room for all of us, was decorated in a beach theme, plus being close to the Circle. We could not have asked for a better location.
The reason being for the check-in rated so low is that it was very difficult to find the location of the office to obtain the key and papers. Once there the staff was very helpful. The addresses and signs for most of Hilton Head are hard to find. We had to do a lot of back tracking.
All in all we had a great vacation, and can't wait to return again next year!!!

Great Location for Families

We have rented other vacation condominiums before and this property was one of the best we have ever rented! We are a family of five with three teen-agers and there was always plenty to do. The location was great - short walk to beach and Coligny Circle. We had a great view of the lagoon and the pool from the balcony. The rental was clean, spacious, and decorated in a whimsical beach design. The kitchen had everything you needed. We would not hesitate to rent here again or recommend it to friends.

This rental exceeded our expectations. It could not have been more perfect. The location to the beach was great and everything we would need was either in the apartment itself or within a short walking distance. It was a quiet area, private, and beautifully located. We hope to return again and have recommended this area to all our friends and relatives.

We stayed the end of June to early July. This condo is very well appointed. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything you could possibly need from simple meal preparation to elaborate entertaining. The location is ideal for beach access and nearby attractions without needing your car. The spiral staircase to the upstairs is a bit cumbersome with large luggage and for older persons whose agility may have diminished. Also, the king bed in the upstairs bedroom is really 2 twins put together and appear to be shorter than a standard bed. Our guest who is 6'3 had to lay diagonally for comfort. The owners also had an excellent display of reading materials and games for all interests. We have stayed at Forest Beach Villas in the past and have found that this year the grounds have been updated and are nicely maintained. The pool is one of the nicer ones I have seen. Only wish there was an outdoor area where one might be able to use a bbq grill. One last thing, the door knob and lock could be secured a little better.

Pete, thanks so much for your review. Forest Beach Villas are ideally located near shopping, dining and the beach. Unfortunately the spiral staircase is part of the design of the 3 bedroom villas. I recommend not assigning that bedroom to older adults. We will pass along your suggestions about an outdoor grilling area to POA management. Fire laws preclude using barbeque grills on the balcony. We will check out the door knob and lock.

Relaxing family condo!

We had a great week! Location is also great...Second year we've stayed in this unit. Condo was in good condition and we wouldn't change a thing except wife has a bad back and she needs a firmer bed.

Mark, thanks for your review. Unfortunately mattress comfort is quite subjective. Some guests like soft mattresses and others prefer firmer ones. I guess it depends upon what we are used to sleeping on at home. I hope that your wife didn't suffer too much while sleeping at this villa.

Best Condo Ever!

This condo and entire complex was awesome. The condo was so clean and undated, colors were so inviting and really fit the area. The pool was kept so clean as were the bathrooms there. The grounds personnel and any workers were so pleasant. I cannot say enough about it, we will definately be calling you about our next year vacation.
