Island Club Oceanfont Rental on the Fifth Floor Two bedroom, two bath, 5th floor ocean front unit. One of our Hilton Head rentals on the ocean front, stay here for beautiful views. King, queen and a twin bed in the guest bedroom. 2 TVs, VCR, 2 DVDs. Pools, tennis, exercise room and jacuzzi, summer kids programs, playground and BBQ area on site. High speed internet.

This was our second time at this condo. It was like home away from home. Everything you needed was made available to us. All we really needed to purchase was our food. The view was amazing and the people at the Island Club extremely nice. Would highly recommend this condo to anyone thinking of vacationing in Hilton Head.

We loved the Condo at the Island Club, very tastefully decorated...and the kitchen was well stocked...
the internet was slow...
Everything was well kept, this is my 4th stay there...and I will be back..
One suggestion...you should have a set time at the pool for adults only...say from 9 in the evening until 11..you have a great childrens pool that no one uses...It would just be nice to have some quiet adult time at the pool with our the all kids...just a couple of evening hours... -

We usually stay at the Westin but decided to try staying at a condo this year. This was the best decision! We had a fabulous time. Everything we wanted to do was nearby and our children really enjoyed our stay. We will definately do this again.

We have rented this unit before and loved it so much that we always ask to rent it again. The condo is beautiful. The owners, Judy and Butch Whidden constantly upgrade and keep the unit in mint condition. The place is totally furnished including the kitchen with a water saving washer and brand new dryer. The kitchen has been newly refurbished and opens up the living space. It sits right on the beach with a beautiful ocean view. One of the toilets was running slow and the maintenance person was right there to fix it. I can't say enough about how beautiful the unit was decorated and what a great time we had. The only suggestion I have would be to add two small tables to the deck so that you have somewhere to set your morning coffee or play a board/card game in the evening. This was the first time my brand new pregnant daughter-in-law was there and she gasp when I opened the door. Her comment was, "This is better than our honeymoon." They stayed in Disney.
We plan on returning in the next few years. I hope this review does not put us on the bottom of the rental list.

We have stayed in the Island Club for 15 years and this was the nicest condo we have stayed in. It was just beautifully redone and is gorgeous! The kitchen was very well stocked if we had wanted to cook and the furniture was very comfortable. But nothing could compare with the view! We would have liked to stay forever!

We have been visiting HH for many years and this was the nicest place we have stayed. (I don't think your picture is #5502) The 5502 we stayed in had been recently remodeled & was beautiful. The kitchen was great, beds comfortable, furnishings nice, and the location was perfect.

My family spent a week at Island Club 5502. The main reason we booked this unit was based on the pictures of the unit and amenities. Needless to say, we were quite happy with the unit. The recent remodeling made this unit the nicest condo we'd ever stayed in and we fell in love with some of the furniture in the unit. Numerous guests asked us if we were in the unit with granite countertops so we assume others saw pictures of this unit when booking their vacation. The condo is decorated very nice but does not have that "beachy" feel. We were fine with that, but if you like the furniture and decorations to have a beachy theme, this may not be the right unit for you.
We really enjoyed the pool area. A guest told us they had recently updated the pools and it showed. We were impressed and our 2 year old had a blast in the kiddie pool and feeding the ducks and turtles. We went off season (early to mid September) so there were no crowds. Some mornings, we had the pool to ourselves. While the pool area is nice, I'm not sure it is large enough to support a large crowd during peak season.
Overall, I recommend looking at this unit and Hilton Head for your vacation plans. -

Great for a family trip!

We just spent a week at the Island Club and had a great time. The accomadations were perfect. Our kids enjoyed the tv in their bedroom, and my husband and I enjoyed everything else. The decor was great, it felt like we were at home. It was a nice change from the typical beach decor in most places. Hilton Head is a beautful place, the beaches are not crowded, which makes for a relaxing time with the kids. We will definately plan to return there again!

Great Beach Condo

This is the first time we stayed in a condo while at the beach and we will never go back to a hotel. Our condo was beautifually renovated and decorated. It worked perfectly for our family. We were right by the palyground, the kids pool, and the beach. If they would have had pool side service that would have made the trip fantastic. But nonetheless - I highly recommend staying at this propoerty and specifically this condo unit.

nicest condo that I have seen seen visiting the Island Club since I was
a kid. It also had a great view, good sun and breeze on the deck

This property was recently completely redecorated. It is extremely beautiful. The grounds were well kept and the pool and spa area very relaxing with a waterfall and separate tots pool. There were many chaise lounges in the shade and out in the sun. Lot's of dining nearby and the bike rentals on the property were handy and fun. The kitchen is very well equiped, I really felt at home.
