The villa overall was very nice. I only had two complaints: The first was that the bathroom floor was not swept. I could tell that the bathroom had been cleaned in every other way, it seems that the floors were just forgot...not a deal breaker by an means just a bit annoying. The only other problem was that the sliding glass door handle was broken, which meant it did not lock and was very cumbersome to close. The company sent a technician to look at very soon after we called, but the young man did not have the necessary parts to fix it. Since we were on the 3rd floor I was not overly concerned about the lock, but if we had been even one floor lower it would have been a big safety concern. Other than those two minor things it was a wonderful vacation! The girl who checked us in was very helpful! Thanks.

Unit not cleaned and available for check-in until almost 5:00. Unit was dusty, throw rugs were dirty, towels were stained and threadbare, no privacy at night in living room, agent confused about early check out procedure from this unit, shower had a wad of hair and a used washcloth in it. The location was conveniently located to Salty Dog , and the stove/oven was new and nice, but I would not rent this unit again due to sanitary conditions.

We, as well as our owner will benefit from your suggestions and hopefully any prospective guest that happens to read this will obtain some useful insights on how to handle any potential problems when renting a vacation rental on Hilton Head Island or anywhere for that matter. We take our guest comments and concerns very seriously and routinely do everything we can to ensure that each guest has an enjoyable stay with us. It is rare that we receive any negative feedback regarding cleaning issues from our guests but when we do, it is best to report these problems to one of our staff members right away so we can correct any deficiencies quickly and with very little disruption. It is very possible that during the 6 hour window that we have to access each property and have it cleaned on a busy turn day that a guest will run into one of our four inspectors/cleaners during the check-in process. We are always eager to hear from our clients when concerns arise since it provides us with a better opportunity to correct whatever issue is at hand or even compensate an individual for their troubles. shades need to be replaced, removal of dust collectors fake flowers and nicknacks, sheets that better fit the bed, clean under sofa and chairs, check light bulbs, check plumbing

Our rental was not very clean. The rug in the living room & the kitchen had something sticky on both. You wlaked over them & your sock stuck to something. There were ants that came out of the corner of bathroom counter near caulking. The shower area was not well lit & once you closed the shower curtain you could hardly see. Whoever cleaned didn't clean a hairball that was left in the top corner of the shower. In the middle of the week i thought I would vacuum the living room rug I turned on the vacuum & it put such a bad smell in the villa, it took a while to get rid of it, it was awlful. We had 4 bath towels, 2 hand towels & only 2 washclothes for 4 people. There were 3 fitted sheets for the the pull out bed but no flat sheets. One of the pillows didn't have a pillow cse on it.
On a positive not the king bed was very comfortable & the view was beautiful. The location was perfect for plenty of things to do.
We were very disappointed for the price we paid.I understand these rentals are used frequently but they need to really work on cleanliness & make sure there are proper linens. We will never stay in this unit again. -

Stayed here for the 4th weekend. This was our first trip to Hilton Head and couldn't have been nicer. This unit is well equipped with a view of the South Beach Marina, and a very short walk to the beach, pool, marina, bike rentals and the Salty Dog Cafe. Very roomy living area and had a King size bed in Master...that was hard to find and one of the reasons we chose this unit. The key was tricky so thought we were in the wrong building at first. There isn't an elevator so you do need to be able to do stairs. Harbour Town is a short drive or nice bike ride and we went to the Beach Club as well which is part of the amenities. Loved this part of the Island. Would definitely come back

What a fabulous vacation! The service from the team at Hilton Head Vacation Rentals was outstanding! I had A LOT of questions before we began our vacation - each one was answered promptly and completely; after we arrived, everything was perfect! We stayed in 1813 Bluff Villas; the location was perfect - the charm of the South Beach Village and the convenience of Sea Pines. We're already planning our vacation for 2011!

The bluff villas are at a great location on the island. Away from all the traffic and an easy walk to the South Beach Marina. The unit is very nice with a great view. The only negative is the steps. Would stay there again without doubt.

Hilton Head is like our second home. This was our 5th year at Bluff Villas 1813. We just love the view, the Salty Dog, the people, weather, just everything.
The condo had some renovations this year with painting and new living room furniture. Was very nice to see a change. The only thing I would recommend now would be a change in the bathroom, however no big deal. It was a wonderful place to stay - very comfortable. We have already booked for next year, same time. -

A stylish villa, perfect for a couple. Balcony excellent for dining with lovely grounds, marina view, and the subdued sounds of the music of South Beach. Also easy beach access. We would stay here again!

Great view and very nice place to stay. Easy access to beach, bike trails, restaurants, and water activities. Very quiet. Accommodations were great and very roomy for 2 people. With only one bathroom, may get crowded for more than 2 people. Unit is on 3rd floor, so you want to make most of each trip up or down, but it makes for a nice view of the marina activity!
