Great location, beach steps away. Living space was large and kitchen was fully equipped. A bit out dated verses other condos we had seen. Bathrooms felt dingy and dirty. 2nd bed room was very poorly lit. Pool area and tennis courts well maintained, very small and old workout room, disappointing when it is raining.

Yes #1201 Island Club has a great beach location and is a very well equipped vacation villa. I appreciate you taking the time writing a review but I wish you could have given us an example of why you thought this villa was "somewhat dated". As you can read from all of the other reviews (mostly 5 stars), this property is very popular. We will have the villa owners address the light issue in the second bedroom. You mentioned that the bathrooms "felt dingy and dirty"? If they did indeed need to be recleaned, I wish you had called the front desk and we would have addressed this issue immediately. We do not want any of our guests disappointed even when it is raining.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The location was wonderful with easy access to pool and beach. The condo is beautiful and clean. Our only issue was the guest bedroom mattress was squeaky and we would have enjoyed four nice chairs on the balcony instead of two! We loved it overall and would definitely rent it again.

We enjoyed our stay at Island Club! Hilton Head Vacation rentals made everything easy and relaxing, all we had to do was show up and enjoy Island Club 1201. It was the perfect size, updated with very nice furnishings and about 300 ft from the beach. Island Club is in a great location and minutes away from restaurants and shopping! The pool is great and there are biking trails everywhere. If we go back to Hilton Head, we're staying at IC 1201 again!

We had a very lovely stay in the condo; we would have liked to be oceanfront but this was the next best thing. The house was layed out very well and was equipped extremely well. The only suggestion I might make is to move the really big, sharp knives from the second drawer to the left of the dishwasher to another higher drawer...my two year old grandson found them within the first two hours of our check-in. We had a grandchild with us and were very impressed with the playground; much nicer than another condo's we stayed at. The pool area was also very nice. Although we really like being oceanfront we would not let that stop us from renting this unit again.

The unit was furnished lovely with everything you needed in the kitchen. Plenty of sleeping space. Everything was fresh and clean. The view was pretty, one side had a grassy view and the other to the ocean. The balcony was nice as well, and there was a gas grill right down stairs to use. We would rent this unit again.

We absolutely loved this room. This was our eighth trip to The Island Club and we had stayed in the same room everytime (a one bedroom) because we loved that particular room. This year is the first year we came with our two small children, so we reluctantly had to get a two bedroom. I loved this room even more than our usual. It's very modern and updated, and (being a corner unit) it has the view of an oceanfront room with the cost of an oceanview. The only thing we didn't like about our stay was that it was over too quickly. We're already planning to stay longer next year.

this condo was great...a few minor things that would improve it; a different broom for sweeping up, more lighting in the guest bedroom, & items that we were told would be there were not (dishwashing liquid, detergent)...we would definitely stay there again & recommend it to others

Vitangeli Family, thanks so much for your review. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and the condo itself. We will take a look at the broom and lighting issue in the guest bedroom. I am surprised to hear that you did not have the starter supply of dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent. You should have called us as our cleaners normally provide these things. I apologize if they were missing but you normally have to purchase additional quantities anyway during a stay.

The Condo we stayed at was absolutley fabulous. Clean, Quiet, and most of all RELAXING atmosphere!! We will be asking for this place by number from now on. The view from the balcony was wonderful. The beach and pool were A+. It is our second time at HHI and as a family, we hope to make this place our yearly vacation spot for years to come!!!

We had a wonderful week staying at this beautiful unit on Hilton Head Island. We have stayed at Island Club 5 years in a row, always in a different unit depending on availability, and this has absolutely been one of the best! The unit is spacious, clean, updated, and very inviting! I hope it will be available for our next stay! Highly recommended!

Enjoyed the view, but stating that it's "virtually oceanfront" is a stretch. The layout, furnishings and amenities are good, though we found the kitchen to be somewhat undersupplied. Maybe we couldn't find the stuff we needed. Having WiFi is a plus.

Bailjack, thanks so much for your review. Year after year The Island Club boasts more repeat guests than any other complex we manage. This villa is no exception. It is advertised as an ocean view villa which is angled to the side and behind the ocean front villas. Most guests find the view fantastic. I'm sorry that you were disappointed with the view. The kitchen is well stocked so perhaps you just didn't find the items you were searching.

This was our second stay at the Island Club. We love the resort and this particular condo was even better than the one before.
It's very comfortable. We felt very at-home-not like we were staying in a rental condo. The kitchen is recently remodeled and well-stocked. The master bedroom bed is very comfortable. I actually looked to see what brand the mattress was before I left so I can get one like it at home.
The balcony has very comfortable wicker furniture and of course the view can't be beat.
The pools at the resort have been recently redone. The grounds are very well-kept. As a bonus, there are bunnies, ducks, turtles and lizards to be seen if you like animals. Oh, and the playground is also new.
