Golf Course View Unit in Shipyard Just renovated, this 3 bedroom 3 1/2 bath Hilton Head condo rental has just recently been redecorated and refurnished with a beach theme. Everything is new including the 46" flat screen TV with surround sound, HBO and DVR located above the fireplace in the living room. The living room includes a new queen sleeper sofa so the condo can accommodate 8 people. We have enjoyed both summers we have stayed in 127 Evian. This very pleasant villa has a good air conditioner, and is, for the most part, taken care of nicely. The only recommendations we would make are: needs some comfortable living room furniture (couch and recliner), improved twin beds in the third bedroom (they are very uncomfortable); continue to keep the place clean as it is starting to run down some from last year.

We love Hilton Head and vacation there quite often. The condo was awesome and the bike rentals were speedy! The air conditioning was having trouble keeping the upstairs of the condo cool and it wasn't nearly as hot and humid there this year in June as its been in the past. Hilton Head vacation rentals is always pleasant to work with. I'm always so appreciative for the families that share their condos with us so thanks again for making our vacation wonderful!

This is the second time part of our family have used this accommodaiton and it didn't disappoint us, again. It's clean, well located, great view of Shipyard golf course and the house has all the amenities you require. The location is ideal for the swimming pool, tennis courts and cycling to the beach. We'd definitely use the rental again!

Check-in & check-out was a breeze! The villa was spacious, clean & quiet. Close proximity to the beach, grocery stores, Coligny Plaza and Sea Pines. Great rental!

The property was very nice, and the management was helpfull. Great quiet location overlooking the golf course.
Parking passes were a problem with two families and all their things. Additional passes should be available for a reasonable fee. -

Our only complaint was the air conditioner. The master bedroom was very warm even with the air turned to 72! Luckily they had a couple fans in the condo which we used every night. I'm not sure the placement of the thermostat is a good one...in the hall way with the very high ceiling/skylight.

Yes, #127 Evian is a beautiful villa and one of our nicest since the owner refurbished it last year. However, we are very confused about your comment on the air conditioner. This state of the art system was just installed several months ago. Yesterday, we went over to the villa to check on its performance. It was 92 outside, the themostat was set on 73 and the reading was 72 - perfect! We asked the current guests if they had experienced any problems with the cooling and they had not. Evidently, when you were here someone must have moved the setting off of "auto/cool" or had closed the vents in the master bedroom. I am sorry that you did not notify us when you were here that you were having a problem as it could have been easily rectified. Hopefully, next time when you come back and stay in this villa, it will be perfect!

We loved the condo. The three bedrooms was perfect for our family. Our family is growing and we needed more room. We liked everything about the condo. The location is perfect for going to the pool and not that far from the beach. There was nothing I didn't like about this condo.
We have been coming to Hilton Head for over 25 years and always enjoy our stay. A beach vacation is the most relaxing vacation a person can have.

Evian 127 is a lovely well equipped villa, we liked the bright furniture the locstion snd thr drcoration, it was done with taste and love, we stayes 3 weeks and I certainly would recommend it.We came all the way from germany, we were 3 adults NS " CHILDREN AND ARE NOW BACK HOME:Thank you

It is very possibly the nicest place we have stayed at any beach, except for one thing, roaches. We have only been to Hilton Head twice, and both places we stayed had roach problems. Bug spray, bug bombs, and roach traps didn't even seem to phase the things. The only other issue we found is that the stopper in the master bathroom would not work to shave.
As for the condo itself, it was spacious and relaxing. Once we finally figured out how to work the TV it was very nice to have surround sound and an iPod dock too. Shipyard is such a beautiful area and centrally located so you can get almost anywhere in a few moments.Response from Hilton Head Vacation Rentals - 08/17/2009

#127 Evian is one of the nicest villas in the complex as it was just updated this past winter. I am very sorry that the "palmetto bugs" took away from your enjoyment of this beautiful villa. Unfortunately, like all coastal areas of the southeast, these uninvited guests do exist. Regular sraying by a professional pest control company usually takes care of these pests. However, if the critters appear between regular treatments, we call the exterminators back out to take do a trouble spray. Next time if, you have another pest problem, please give us a call and we will have someone out in 24 hours to remedy the situation. However, you must let us know that you are seeing live bugs - do not try and treat them yourself. We are here to address any issues that you may encounter with your rental property but you have to let us know that you are having a problem so that we can take care of it while you are still here.

WE VERY MUCH ENJOYED STAYING HERE. THE HOUSE ACCOMODATED US VERY WELL. IT WAS WELL FURNISHED AND PROVIDED THE AMENITIES WE WERE LOOKING FOR WHEN WE MADE THE RESERVATION. WE LIKE THE LOCATION, THE PEACEFUL SETTING, LOOKING OUT OVER THE GOLF COURSE, THE PROXIMITY TO THE POOL AND TENNIS COURTS, AND THE ACCESS TO OTHER PARTS OF HILTON HEAD. WE HAVE VACATIONED AT THE JERSEY SHORE FOR YEARS, AND THIS WAS OUR THIRD TIME ON HILTON HEAD. IT IS A GREAT VALUE AS COMPARED TO THE OVERPRICED JERSEY SHORE TOWNS. PLUS HILTON HEAD IS A MUCH NICER PLACE. THE ONLY AREAS OF THIS HOUSE THAT WE FELT COULD USE SOME UPDATING WERE THE BATHS(WHO EVER CAME UP WITH SQUARE TOILETS), AND THE OUT OF DATE SHAG CARPET. WE WOULD DEFINETLY RENT THIS UNIT AGAIN. THE RENTAL COMPANY DID A GREAT JOB. THEIR PHONE SUPPORT IS VERY GOOD. WHEN WE STOPPED TO PICK UP THE KEY WE WERE IN AND OUT IN 10 MINUTES. THEY WERE BVERY EASY TO DEAL WITH. THANKS FOR A GREAT WEEK.

Nice, comfortable villa with plenty of room for a family of 5 to enjoy each other but have plenty of personal "space". Pleasant view of the golf course. All the comforts of home! Having access to a washer and dryer was very helpful with wet, sandy beach towels to deal with for 8 days. Just a short drive or pleasant bike ride to the beach. It would have been helpful to receive a few more bath/hand towels since we were there for a full week.
Though understandable in a coastal area, the villa had a bit of a roach problem, but not enough to keep us away! -

I love the beach, renting a condo is the only way to go. The unit needs to be updated the furnishings are old. The master bedroom was hot the entire two weeks I was there.
I loved the layout of the condo, a great place for a large family. Still a good price for the area.

very nice vacation rental, lots of room and beautiful view. There were lots of doors and windows that showed the outside which made for a very open feeling. Amenities were very nice and the kitchen was very well stocked with all the necessary untensils. Showers were nice, water pressure very good and no real complaints, would certainly rent this unit again. Only suggestion would be to change the lock mechanism so you can leave the keys and exit by thy front door the day you are leaving.
