Only a few houses from the ocean. Great kitchen and seating for entertaining. Had family over for dinner a couple of times. Entertainment/shopping/groceries nearby. Dog friendly. Fenced in yard was perfect. Outdoor shower was great for rinsing sand off dog and humans after the beach. Screened in porch a plus. Near bike path. Would definitely go back again.

Great location, one kilometre from Coligny Circle, easy walk on paved path through shady trees.
Beach is a three minute walk and was terrific, almost vacant, only problem was jellyfish - we all got stung once.

We have rented this property many times. For the last few years we have stayed in other rentals on North Forrest Beach. Returning this year to 26 Mallard gave us the feeling of homecoming. We cook-in every evening and often invite old friends on the street to join us. The kitchen is perfect for our collaborative way of preparing meals. The house just suits our retired family and friends. The rental fee is affordable so we are able to stay at least two weeks, the property is well maintained, and the response to any problem is efficiently handled by Resort Rental. We have been coming to North Forrest beach for more than 40 years most of those vacations were spent on Mallard Street. We hope a reasonable rental like this one remains available for our family to be able to stay on HHI for multiple weeks.

My family and I stay at Mallard every other year around Christmas. We love to take our dogs along with us. They love the beach. It's just a short walk to the beach and to shops. We love that we don't have to take the car anywhere is we don't want to. The house is always clean and well stocked. We will definately rent this house again.

We chose 26 Mallard as a rental property for our first trip to Hilton Head in October, 2010. The house worked out great. We were looking for a pet friendly rental property and although this house was larger than what we needed - we thought the private yard would work out better for us than than being in a villa. The location is fantastic, the beach access is 3 houses away and you are just a short walk from the shops and restaurants of Coligny Plaza. The beach area in North Forest Beach is ideal - access is limited since there is no parking and the number of houses is fairly limited. The pictures don't do the house justice. The owner and property manager were great to work with and the transaction was hassle free. It was a great choice - we'd definitely return.

Great location. Great beach. Pet friendly is excellent. It does get a little warm on 2nd floor. Kitchen well supplied. Washer/Dryer very nice. Decor is very nice. All necesseties taken care of and nice little extras.

I hosted a vacation for my family, my nephew, my niece and her family. We've vacationed in Hilton Head for several years. We truly enjoyed this house. I highly recommend the home for a satisfying family retreat.

My kids are nearing age 30 and we have been coming to Hilton Head since they were around 10 years old. We have been everywhere, seen everything, but never stayed in such a great place as we did this time! We all felt like we were at home on the beach! The house was roomy, warm, had a great kitchen (my daughter loves to cook), great beachy decorations and invited us in for a wonderful vacation! The walk to the beach? What walk? Less than 1 minute away was a beach paradise!!! It was soooo great to be soooo close to the house while enjoying a long, hot summer day on the beautiful beach! It would be hard to go back and stay anywhere else!

HOuse very well equipped. Downstairs bedroom great for 2 teenage boys. It would help if that bathroom had a fan.
Upstairs quiet retreat.
Pet friendly, corner lot, fenced in yard and screened in porch.
Down the road from the beach. Friendly neighbors - walking distance to stores - quiet neighborhood. -

We would love to rent Mallard again. We enjoyed the screened in porch and decks very much. The kitchen was great to cook for our family. There was plenty of room for cooking. It was a very short distance to the beach, which was very quiet.

Resort Rentals was very nice to work with. They answered emails promptly and had all the information and key to us before we even left home. The Mallard was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The only problem we experienced was the upstairs was very hot and we had to run the air low to make it comfortable. We especially enjoyed how close it was to the beach, just a minute to walk. Hilton Head Island is beautiful.

Loved our stay at the Mallard. Staff at rental agency was very nice and helpful. The home with it's three levels affords lots of privacy. As we were visiting from the West Coast we found that everything was provided. All we needed to bring was a few clothes and ourselves. We had bikes delivered for the week, and rode all around the wonderful bike paths and beach. The location was perfect close to shopping, great restaurants. golf etc. Looking forward to going back sometime and staying at the Mallard.
