The entire reservation, check in and check out process was a breeze.
The home location was close to the beach, the private pool was a plus, the layout of the home was good. The kitchen was large and easy to fix large meals for the family.
The overall cleaniness of the home was poor. The tile flooring needed to be washed after each rentals. The vacumn cleaner did not work, plug issue. Some of the electrical outlets the top plug in didn't work. I suggest you have some one check into this. There was no garage door opener. I felt that the carpets in the bedroom needed to be cleaned as there were several stains. I would have a pest control company service the interior of the home for spiders and ants.
We like the backyard space around the pool and how close it was located to the beach. The cleaning team needs to address the floors in cleaning them after a tenant moves out.Response from Resort Rentals of Hilton Head Island - 06/24/2011

We had a great experience on our first trip to Hilton Head. The private pool was awesome. Just a short jaunt to Savannah, which was very historical and a great day trip. With small kids, the washer and dryer was a must! Everything was extremely clean and very roomy!

The property was exactly what we wanted. To was quiet and had the perfect space for our family and freinds. The patio with the fireplace and heated pool was central to some memorable evenings.

We are a family from the United Kingdom who have just spent another fabulous week on HHI. We first visited in 2007 and stayed at True Escape, Folly Field. We stayed there again and if anything our 2nd visit was even better. The house is superb, close to the beach and with a great outdoor pool. The people are really friendly and helpful and the island itself is perfect. We will definitely be back again for a 3rd time.

The heated pool was awesome! The walking distance to the beach was great. The only negative thing i could say was that we were awaken one morning by the garbage collectors complaining, outside our window,about having to take the trash full of bottles.

The True Escape was as advertised....a "true escape." The house was very clean and provided nice space to enjoy. The outdoor area with the pool was a very nice amenity. We have young children so it was nice to be able to enjoy the pool while they were napping. The location was also nice given that the beach was truly just a short walk from the house. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend both the home and Resort Rentals to others.

Stayed 06/20/2009 through 06/27/2009 six adults and no kids. Home was great: clean; new furniture; new appliances; washer and dryer; air conditioner made that cold, like a meat locker. Private pool was great too, fenced in for privacy, so neighbors couldn't spy on our splash parties. Approximately 1/2 mile walk to beach and a sports bar. Had a great time, I will go back, and I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Hilton Head Island.

Words cannot explain how satisfied we were with True Escape. The house was beautiful and the pool was relaxing. This was our first visit to Hilton Head and we were keeping our options open. We planned on looking for other properties while we were there, but after arriving at the house we knew there were no substitutes. We have already begun planning our vacation for next year. We cannot explain how satisfied we were with the staff at Resort Rentals, especially Kim. Our son had locked us out of the house and we contacted Kim and she meet us at 10:30 at night to give us another key. The beach was a short walk and the bike path across the street gave us plenty of options during the day. My wife enjoyed writing in the diary left by the owners and can't wait until next year to read what others have written.

We took our 1 year old on her first vacation here. Having the pool at the house was wonderful, and it was extremely close to the beach as well. The house was clean and comfortable and perfect for our family of 3. We could easily walk to the beach, or just go out the back door and be in the pool. The only drawback was that a week was too short.
