This second floor (walk-up) unit has views of the pool area, woods, and landscaping. Updates to this property include ceiling fans in the living room and both bedrooms, shuttered windows, Corian counter tops, and a 55” LED flat screen TV with VCR and Blu-Ray Player in the living room. A large screened porch is accessed from the living room and guest bedroom. It offers excellent outdoor living space with plenty of furniture and two ceiling fans.

Well the condo was very nice but the view was not what we had hoped it would be. so next time when we come we are definetly having a ocean view!!

We loved the spacious layout with bedrooms on opposite sides of the condo for added privacy when traveling with kids or other couples. The large bathrooms and walk-in closets connected to each bedroom were so convenient. The screened porch was so peaceful in the shade of the trees and overlooked the pool. I loved the convenience of having a washer and dryer in every unit so we were able to pack light. The best perk of all was the location, it's just a short walk to the beach and a bike ride away from the shops and restaurants at Shelter Cove and when we were there in late april it wasn't crowded at all. The only downsides were the jellyfish on the beach (which can't be helped), the dirty dishes/silverware/utensils in the drawers and cabinets (we had to wash everything before we could use it), and the few "palmetto bugs" (aka cockroaches) that snuck through the gap under the front door into the kitchen. But from what I understand, the bugs come with the territory in that climate and the sign inside the kitchen cabinet indicated that the property sprayed regularly for pest control and we never saw any bugs in the bedrooms or bathrooms. My only wish for added comfort would be additional softer pillows in each bedroom. The beds were pretty firm and there were only 2 flat pillows on each bed. Overall it was a beautiful, relaxing location and we plan on returning next year!

Just fix the back door leading out to the deck with some kind of latch. Loved the screened in porch. Kitchen nicely equipped. Cheerful color scheme. Being on second floor provides more privacy. Beach is very close by. Nice to have a garage to park car in.

Wonderful week! Great condo. Nicely furnished and well maintained. Very clean and airy. Amenities very nice. Spacious with nice decking. Great living areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms. Only 2 recommendations: spray for bugs prior to arrival (several seen during stay), and maybe add a way to leave front door open while loading/packing without locking.

The condo is tastefully decorated and very spacious. Excellent location. Very quiet and peaceful.
I enjoyed eating at my favorite places-Salty Dog at South Beach, Crazy Crab and King Fisher at Shell Cove. There is so much to do in HHI. This visit we went dolphin watching and on the Gullah tour. Of course we spent a lot of time on the beach and in the swimming pool when weather permitted.
I look forward to coming back next year. Would like to rent a couple of days in the fall, I usually visit HHI about 3 time per year. I have told family and friends about my pleasurable stay at 8112 Wendover Dunes. 4 stars because of waterbugs. -

We love the location on the island, very central. It is at the beach but in March it is nice to be just off the beach and enjoy the sheltered pool, too. We have stayed here in this unit two times and have enjoyed both visits. Really couldn't imagine staying anywhere else! We had bikes for the week, swam in the pool which we can see from our window and porch, and enjoyed the beach as well. It is a nice, quiet neighborhood and nicely kept up.

8112 Wendover Dunes is a beatiful property and made us feel at home. It is located in a very quiet part of Hilton Head. Close to the beach. The Property was found clean and had everything we needed to make our stay wonderful.

This is the 5th or 6th time we rented this unit when we come to HHI and the only thing we rent at HHI. It has sort of become home. We love the unit, how it's furnished, etc.
