This beautiful Sea Pines home is just 2nd row from the Ocean. The wonderful layout includes a large screened-in porch and spectacular courtyard lap pool with large outdoor spa. My inlaws owned this house for 30+years and sold it five years ago after my father-in-law's passing. We had not stayed here since, and loved to see that the house was so cared for. Nice updates had been done and the house was in perfect shape and beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful stay. We have rented from several island rentals the past several years and found Destination Vacations to be very professional, friendly and accomodating.

We had a wonderful visit to 11 Cedar Wax Wing in late summer 2009. The
home was beautiful, well-appointed, and well-cared-for. Sea Pines is, as
always, the perfect place to stay on Hilton Head, and 11 Cedar Wax Wing was
well-situated in the more private section of the Plantation. While we weren't
right on the ocean, the lovely home more than made up for that, and we
appreciate the owners sharing it with us! We look forward to returning very
soon! -

Our family ranges in age from 10-75 years old and this house was a great
place for us to relax. We could spend time together (and apart) in this
spacious home without ever bumping into each other. Two people per room
was quite comfortable. Of course the grandparents had one of the HUGE
bedrooms/baths upstairs. The younger folks had the downstairs bedrooms
with shared bathrooms and quick access to the pool. Excellent layout.
House is close to the beach and had everything in stock. The folks at
Destination Vacation also kindly let us rent by the night since we weren't
staying an entire week. That was a deciding factor for us. They provided great
service, answered questions prior to our trip and called the house once we
arrived to make sure everything was in order. Would rent this house all over
again! -

11 Cedar Wax Wing has all the ammenities a family could want. The kitchen is fabulous. The five bedrooms all have their own bath and the pool has its own bath right inside the lower door.
The living space is open and inviting.
Having a screen room in a second row home was wonderfully refreshing for the ocean breeze and to hear the waves and creatures of the dunes.
The house is well maintained by the owners and Destination Vacation does its usual superior job in service and cleaning. It is a pleasure to rent from this company and their personnel.
There is a great pool and hot tub to lounge in and a grill on the pation for the wonderful seafood from the island.
The location is quiet and on a street with little traffic. It is close to South Beach and bikes can be ridden to all the great Sea Pines locations from this house.
It is a beautiful house and an outstanding value.
There really is no down side to this home but the upsides cannot all be counted. -

This house caters to a family vacation. The homeowners thought of every
necessary comfort, for example three coffee pots. "Wow, no waiting". It has
great space for everyone to relax and find quiet time. The walk to the beach is
no more than three minutes. I would rent this house in a heart beat, be very
careful of sharing the address in hopes of renting it again. -

We recently visited Hilton Head Island for the first time with another family of friends. Both our families soooo enjoyed this vacation home. It was close to the beach as well had an awesome pool and patio area that our families enjoyed. The interior of the house worked great for the children to have a living/private area in the basement. The kitchen was beautiful, amazing appliances (great fridge, stove and ice maker), well stocked with all that was needed for the week and an easy gathering place for all. Great audio system throughout main level. The master was enormous. We too enjoyed the owners library area as it worked great for all to check email,do some work, plan activities for the week and grab a great book to read. The owners had a wide selection of DVD's that the children could choose from. And a feature that we also used was the main and lower level laundry rooms. The screened-in porch off the family room area was most pleasant in the morning with a cup of coffee and just a nice spot to talk with friends. We found Destination Vacation great to work with and will definitely recommend to others. We all said we loved this home and HHI and would want to come back to both in the future. It truely was an awesome and memorable vacation!

We enjoyed the house and the arrangement of bedrooms and living spaces worked well for our two families with 4 grown children. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped (an electric can opener would be nice as the manual one was hard to find) We appreciated the many board games and books available. The pool was great, though the deck area was a little tough to enjoy when all of us were out there. Loved the screened porch. The TV system was hard to figure and it was odd that there were not working TVs in every bedroom. The main thing we wished for was a half bath upstairs so that those of us with bedrooms downstairs did not always need to run downstairs to use the bathroom.
