Just spent spring break in this rental. It is well maintained, very comfortable, handles a large group with three different gathering spaces and the bedrooms are comfortable, (although the mattresses are too firm). The beach is lovely. We enjoyed sunsets and dolphins right off shore. The kitchen is smaller than it looks online but we fixed dinner for 15 to 20 each night. I recommend that you rent beach chairs from South Beach and bikes from Bike Doctor. It was a pleasure working with Destination Vacations.

Perfect location for a family gathering, or larger group; Property is well maintained, great layout, filled with sunshine, ideally located on the beach, quiet. Received outstanding service when needed from the rental agency. Close to amenities (bike rental, restaurant, tennis). Our whole family (age 8 to 81) enjoyed this get together at Lands End Way tremendously.Loved it :-)

This house is perfect for an extended family. Lots of room and places to get away from it all. Perfect location for all activities. Within walking distance of restaurants, shops, tennis, beach, etc. Luxury service with lots of towels, paper products, soaps, etc. Just a great vacation experience!!!

This is at least the fourth time we've stayed at 1 Lands End way - and we will keep coming back. The beachfront location is ideal - and because it is tucked away at "Lands End" it is very quiet. Still, within a five minute walk there are restaurants and fun galore.
The staff at Destination Vacations responded to our every need. They do a first class job. Thanks for making our family vacation just perfect!

1 Lands End Way was perfect for our graduation beach getaway! I will rent the house again. Quiet end location but close to everything on a bike. The house was spotless and had everything we needed to enjoy our 4 nights.

We particularly enjoyed the view of the water and never tired of watching the dolphins frolic all day long. We were fortunate to have great weather the entire period we were there so made good use of the delightful screened porch. We needed the screens as the bugs came early with the warm weather!
We were dismayed to learn upon arrival that the attached unit was under construction. However, Destination Vacation handled the situation well, offering to move us if the noise was going to spoil our stay. We elected to stay put and were pleasantly surprised at how sound proof the attached units really are. This experience served to point out just how important it is to rent through a reputable company and Destination receives a 10 out of 10 from us! We have been renting through various companies in Hilton Head for over 20 years so feel we in a good position to judge.
The updated kitchen and baths are a plus as well as the newer living room furniture. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedding was adequate. The unit was very clean upon arrival. Unfortunately all the windows have been painted shut and do not open so we had to use the air conditioning much of the time.
Land's End is very private and peaceful with all the amenities of South Beach Marina nearby. The homes here are older but are well kept and many have been renovated. -

We have stayed in Lands End 1 several times. It is a great location. Very clean. I really like the large table for eating. It is well sutited for our family get togethers.

The location was great for us, out of the way yet near all amenities. We loved the accomodations, especially the kitchen and the bathrooms that have been recently upgraded. The company Destination Vacation made the entire stay pleasant, comfortable, and convenient by the way they had handled setting up the transaction for keys to the little touches of fresh soaps, towels, linens, and all the necessities to run a kitchen and laundry.

Enjoyed the location (but, bugs are out in Oct ). Easy to ride bikes and go over to South Beach with children. We love Sea Pines for all the extras. House was nice, needed some furniture upgrade in den and chairs were not as comfortable in bedrooms as they could have been. There was plenty of room for multiple families, kids, kitchen well equipped.
Working with your company, Gail Edmonds was very good. She was very helpful in getting us an adequate location to meet all the family needs from my 100 year old mother to the baby. We are renting another propery from you again for Oct, 2010.Response from Destination Vacation - 03/25/2010

The homeowner hired someone to help them update early this year (2010) and completely refurnished the den, added new bedding and updated accessories - they even added a flat-panel, wall-mounted TV in the living room. We look forward to seeing again this fall and thank you again for staying with Destination Vacation.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was cozy and inviting. We loved the location because we were far enough away from civilization, but close enough to some conveniences. Especially enjoyed the bike trails throughout the island! Only a few complaints: the house floors were dirty, including the back porch. There was dirt still on area rug and there was food left under an end table in LR upon arrival and back porch had something sticky spilt by rocking chairs. The MBR fan was noisy and the front porch railings were loose so we had to be careful going up to the house.
Other than the housekeeping issues, we were extremely content with the amenities and all the room! Our backyard view of the bay was absolutely wonderful because we saw all kinds of wildlife in/on the bay. -

We've been going to HHI for 10 years and this is the nicest rental property we've used. We highly recommend renting this property. We waited too long to book it this year and missed it.
