Great place to stay. Very short walk to beach. Short walk to bike rental. Stayed here two years in a row. One thing to keep in mind is that there are two thermostats and if you don't set the one near the bedrooms, it will too hot to sleep. It took a couple of days before we realized this!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is close enough to the beach that you can hear the surf and being right on the walkway puts you in the sand in about a hundred yards.

This house was a great location and the pool was nice. Palmetto Dunes was a great plantation with lots to do. House was nice and a good value, but does need some maintenance. Termites in the bathroom of the 2nd master and some wall paper borders peeling...but we had a great time in this house and location.

The exterior of the house could use some updating, but the interior was very nice. The Master bedroom and bath were incredible. Nice pool area that had some shade during the entire day. Short walk/bike ride to the beach..literally minutes. Being the cook of the family, I liked the appliances but there were no knives other than some steak knives. The house was clean, the wi-fi worked fine. Definitely would go back again!!

#48 Mooring Buoy has a great location. Right on the beach walk, it is perfect. The living room area is also perfect for 2 families--3 big sofas for conversation. Nice dining room with 8 chairs. We particularly liked eating on the screened in porch, however, as the weather was beautiful--hot but very tolerable. The home is older and has undergone some renovations. It has a newer kitchen, and the master bath has been redone and is spacious. There are 4 bedrooms total. The master is large. The other bedrooms are average in size. The kitchen is a little on the small side but has ample storage for a week's stay. The overall condition of the home is fair to good. The home is a little dated, but nice. There was an additional room and bath in the basement that we never used. Nice pool that gets sun in the afternoon.

Overall the house was very nice. We had some issues with the spa, it emptied out around 11:00 and did not fill up until the next morning. Kind of disappointing because we wanted to use it every evening and could not always do so. I think there may have been an issue with the timer, it would be helpful to make sure the times are set accurately.
I appreciated the fact that we did not have to stand in line to check in, that helped save a lot of time.
