We stayed in this home with 5 other families. We all had a blast! The home was beautiful and met all our needs. The pool was huge and the house is right on the beach. There is a beautiful deck to relax on. We loved this house and would highly recommend it!

We rented this home for our annual family summer vacation (3 generations). The home was perfect for us. The pool was wonderful and the private beach access was great. The 5 year old twins could not have been happier. The house is well supplied-from kitchen to beach and pool toys it is all there. The home is beautifully decorated--very comfortable for our entire group. The deck with 8 rocking chairs overlooking the ocean and pool was a favorite place. The elevator made the entire home accessible for my wife (she has ms and uses a scooter). We grilled dinner often. The beach was beautiful and well maintained. Any minor issues were addressed quickly by Destination Vacation. The owner was wonderful to work with during the rental process. Our entire group gave this home 5 Stars!!

The staff was very helpful with booking the house. On arrival, we found the house very clean and in good condition. Having the pool cleaned 2 times was very nice. The grill worked too. We had a wonderful time. It was a perfect week to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Coming back next year.
Great destination all around

This house has such an amazing location. It is footsteps from the beach. It made the ease of carrying beach items no big deal. Coming and going from the beach to go get some drinks or snacks or toys was the best part of it! It was literally the back yard of the home! Not to mention a great pool and hot tub that we used non-stop. The kids would go between beach, pool and hottub all day long.
The kitchen is a little small for a lot of people to be in but it is equipped with about every utensil and appliance available. We cooked big meals every night and enjoy just hanging out and sitting out on the back deck afterwards to listen to the waves crashing. The rooms are big and can sleeps loads of people. Plenty of towels for the bathrooms too. Two sets of washer and dryer, which was great with so many people.
It is away from the chaos of the shopping center but close enough to drive and or your bikes there. The shopping center has everything you need including a grocery store that sells fresh, local seafood. So, if you want to stay in and cook or dine out, you are in luck for both.
Only miles away is just about every fast food restaurant and chain and lots of shopping. We loved the Fresh Market for unique food items and produce. Lots going on around this location. It is a destination for everybody. Very family oriented but also perfect for couples or a weekend getaway with friends. Gold and tennis are the big sporting activites as well as bike riding.
Our whole family was happy with the house, location and surrounding conveniences. Would definitely stay here again.
Fantastic outdoor space!

This home has fantastic outdoor space...pool area and "lounge like" shaded area with nice landscaping made spending time outdoors such a treat. Lots of seating, umbrellas, if needed. The house itself was fine...the kitchen is kind of small, but very well equipped with lots of dishes, glasses, utensils, etc. for a large group.
Two concerns: as soon as we checked in we immediately saw ants on the kitchen counters, but the rental agency was responsive and sent someone with ant traps and spray. Also, one Master King room is directly upstairs from the other one and the floor creaks quite loudly. If you are staying in the first floor Master, you will be awoken if the guests in the second floor Master start walking around. Read more
We appreciate the feedback on the squeaky floor, particularly because it is the first time we have heard it and thus had not addressed it. We went over there today (turnover day) armed with a hammer and a bunch of Golden Ardox finishing nails to fix the problem. We then tested it with a 110 pound person (not really very useful) and a 170 pound person. We don't believe there is a squeak left in that floor!

Owner and management company work very hard to please their guests. Very accomodation and very responsive to guest needs/requests.
This is our third year at this beautiful, well furnished ocean front home. Will make it four years in a row in 2013 if rate remains the same.
Stunning quality and location

Sandpiper Nook is an exquisite property and completely lived up to our high expectations. The house is spacious and the pool was much larger than we had anticipated. The house both interior and extrerior has been thoughtfully and well designed. We had a great time and couldn't recommend it more highly.

We have been coming to HHI for the past 7 years. This is by far our favorite house to have stayed in. It has all the necessities to make your stay very comfortable. The location and proximity are also ideal. Very well maintained year after year.

We had a group of 11 people staying @ Sandpiper 33. We have mentioned our vacation in conversation many times since September. We talk about the convenience of having the pool to enjoy right in the backyard. It was a quiet setting and everyone enjoyed themselves very much.
We would definitely consider renting the same location again.

We have never stayed ocean front but decided to splurge to celebrate our retirements. Our 3 adult children with their families and my sister, husband and daughter also joined us. We loved the rockers all lined up on the porch and had many a happy hour out there. The proximity ot the beach was great, esp with young grandchildren. Each family takes turns cooking abd we found the kitchen to be well stocked. The 2 laundry areas were a nice perk. Five of our six grandchildren stayed in the room with all of the TVs and bunk beds. We were afraid that we wouldn't be able to pry them away to go back home.We absolutely loved it! The O'Connell clan

I rented this house for my ladies tennis team, ages 45-72, group of 13 in Oct
09. We've been renting a beach house/tennis trip for 10 years and this is by far
the most perfect place we have stayed. Plenty of bedrooms, plenty of
bathrooms and all very comfortable beds. Plenty of TVs. Incredible oceanfront
view, New and fresh everything. Nice large counter in the kitchen, nice large
dining room table. Great pool, larger than most. Wonderful under shade living
area by the pool for those who don't need any more sun. We went ahead and
booked it for the next year as soon as we got home. Destination vacations is
super too, very helpful and thoughtful. Really couldn't be any better. Only
thing we needed was about 4 more rocking chairs on the deck.
Beautiful Home - Has It All!!

This home had everything we could ask for -- a location right on the beach, great pool and hot tub, fully furnished kitchen, flat screens everywhere so there is no fighting over bedrooms, a bathroom for every bedroom, a nice grassy area for yard games, plenty of driveway and storage space...
It sleeps 23. There were 14 of us there (6 adults and 8 kids ranging from ages 3 to 18), but it would hold at least 18-20 comfortably and maybe more depending upon the number and ages of the kids.
We also liked dealing with Destination Vacations -- very easy to contact, easy access to the home when arriving, courteous and helpful.
My only complaints (and they are minor) would be the guy who came to take care of the pool on Wednesday was kind of obnoxious and rude. And when they cut the grass on Saturday prior to our arrival they blew the clippings into the pool so we had to net those out. But again, those are minor issues compared to the overall quality of the stay.
We have previously stayed in various locations around the island, most frequently Palmetto Dunes. So we were initially a bit hesitant to try the North Forest Beach area, especially the week after July 4 when it is at its busiest. But it turned out to be every bit as quiet and relaxed as Palmetto. It is a mile north of Coligny so we were well away from the hustle and bustle of that area, yet we were close enough to walk or ride to the stores and restaurants there.
Overall it was a wonderful stay. It's obvious the owners have gone to great lengths to make the home very upscale, yet comfortable and inviting as well.
Beautiful home, pool and location!

We had a great time at 33 Sandpiper. The view of the beach is fantastic, even from the pool area which is rare to find! We really enjoyed the outdoor living area and back porch. I would highly recommend a stay here.
