Our home was ready for us when we arrived. The pool was warmed up for us, the electronics worked perfectly! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The DV people checked on us several times to check and see what else we needed. We will certainly rent from them again.

Everything about this house is top notch. Very well equipped kitchen so that cooking is easy. The location is perfect for the beach as well as a lovely view of Sprunt Pond. The bedrooms are a good size and bright and cheerful. We would happily rent 2 Seaside Sparrow again!

The house located at 2 Seaside Sparrow was extremely clean and well stocked. The location was absolutely perfect, near the beach walk and just a short walk to the ocean. The folks at Destination Vacation were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. I would definitely transact business with them again! My entire family had a wonderful week, even though the weather was not the greatest due to some residual affects from Hurricane Isaac. The pool was great, however a little too deep in the shallow end for little ones. I wouldn't really mention these minor inconveniences, but the cost of the house, even entering the beginning of the off-season, was expensive. So for the price we paid, you wouldn't expect frying pans with rust and a sectional sofa in the family room that has seen it's better days. All in all, our vacation was super and my family is already planning our next trip to Hilton Head.

We stayed with a large group in Sea Pines for a 50th Birthday week celebration. The rooms in the house are much larger in person. This is our 5th time staying in Sea Pines and we love the family type atmosphere it provides. The house is a very short walk to the beach, 5 mins. tops.

We have stayed at this home two years in a row. It is perfect. Besides clean and spacious, the front porch overlooking Sprout Pond is the best feature of the house. Each morning coffee on the porch watching the birds. You could not ask for a better location. Only negative - the grill really needs to be replaced. On the other hand, the kitchen is wonderful with perfectly callibrated double ovens. Made family cooking a real pleasure. I just wish I could bring my dog.

We have worked with Gail Edmonds for several years. She is an excellent rep-
resentative of the agency. We have stayed in the same house for the pasted three years and have already reserved it for next summer. Sea Pines Plantation, a gated community, is the greatest place to take family for a vacation. Hhi has access to every water sport imaginable, beautiful Golf courses, excellent food, private beaches, shopping, bicycling, so much green space, I could go on and on. The only thing our family doesn't like is when we have to leave. Our twin grandchildren love the "Vacation House".

Last September my family of five adults and four children spent a wonderful week at Seaside Sparrow 02 and are going back again this August for a week. The spacious downstairs bedroom and bathroom were wonderful for Grandma (me) and the four bedrooms upstairs were perfect for the rest of the family.The home is gorgeous with every amenity. We had a wonderful week of enjoying the beautiful pool, walking the beaches, golfing, bicycling,and fabulous dining! We love the house.....as it is just ideal for our family!!!!!
We have been vacationing on Hilton Head Island for over twenty-five years and LOVE it! This will be the fourth year of renting through Destination Vacation. They do an awesome job of taking good care of us and our every need. THANKS for making each vacation a huge success!

This house is an absolute gem. Great kitchen with
all the upgrades and necessary cooking tools. Great
for large family. Very comfortable living spaces
with lots of colorful character to each room. All
rooms were immaculate. Great location with easy
walk to the beach. Loved the grill, pool, and
outdoor deck. The decor was lovely. The bedroom
options were great. It was very accommodating for
our family. Would go back to this house in a
heartbeat.
The only thing that could have been better would
have been an easier entrance to the pool for little
kids. The steps are very deep for little ones.

This was a wonderful location for a week stay for three families totaling 11 people comprising three generations -- ages 1 to 70. The pool/spa and the three-minute walk to the beach were highlights of this 5-bedroom home. But the fantastic, well-equipped kitchen and beautifully-appointed living and sleeping rooms also made this property very enjoyable and accommodating. It's just a short bike ride to South Beach and its restaurants and shops. Destination Vacation personnel were very helpful and professional any time I had questions or needed to reach them, from initial contact a year in advance right through to checkout.
We had a few minor maintenance issues which were promptly taken care of. When we arrived, six ceiling light fixtures had burned-out bulbs, all of which could not have happened just in the previous week, so these had not been checked during the regular weekly turnover maintenance. The pool service company backflushed the system one day and in so doing clogged the pipes that fed the spa, which had been working perfectly, so it would not operate, requiring their return trip a day later to fix it. They could have tested the systems after their first visit to verify things were proper and avoided a return. Also, the light in the spa never worked and was not replaced. Finally, the family room TV and whole-house sound system are quite complicated to operate. There are at least two sets of directions for the same equipment, one in the property book and one posted on a cabinet door, but they say different things, and it was a real trial-and-error process to get things to work. The master bedroom had three remotes for just a TV and DVD player, but here there were no directions, and again it was a challenge to get these to operate together.
But these were just little inconveniences. The experience here as a whole was awesome, and we would look forward to returning sometime in the future. -

We had 4 couples and 3 children and were all comfortable in 2 Seaside
Sparrow. It is beautifully decorated, great pool area, great porch. The location
at Sprunt Pond provides a scenic view from the porch. The beach path is a few
steps from the house. Unfortunately our week was almost a complete washout
due to continuous rain on the East Coast, but if there was a house in which to
make our confinement bearable, I think this was it.
