We loved this condo. The wrap-around porch was great, plus the other porch off of the second bedroom was an added bonus, You could sit outside in the shade or find a sunny corner. We saw a bald eagle, a hawk, and deer almost every day, plus so many dolphins. The beach path is near the condo, but we prefer to drive over to the beach club and use that beach when getting in the water and looking at the waves. We enjoyed the close access to the South Beach marina and love all the bike rides and paths. The accommodations would be nice if you had smaller children to out to bed early because the second bedroom has some separation from the main living area, for noise control. Loved our stay here and would book it again!
Last minute vacation and absolutely perfect.

This home was clean, close to the beach, and in a very quiet community. My grandchildren were fascinated by the deer on the sand dunes and the dolphins so close to them. Had everything we needed - beach chair, sand toys, fully outfitted kitchen and such a view of the ocean from the kitchen sink - no problem getting someone to wash dishes with that view!
Awesome time of year!

Great place, clean, well organized. Had everything we needed and a great location. Only critique is we had lots of trouble with the front door lock and they never came to fix it. (It was not the humidity). Read more
Front door lock has been repaired by a locksmith. We apologize he was not able to fix it while this guest was still here, but the necessary repairs have been made.
What a fantastic week!

We picked this condo because several of our friends rented a house nearby for the same week. We loved the decor and layout of the condo we viewed in the pictures but we were blown away when we saw it all in person. The pictures don't do it justice. We had more towels than all 4 of us could use in one week, lots of toiletries, paper products were provided. Loved the kitchen and spacious bathrooms. The beds were super comfortable and although we were on 1st floor we did not encounter very much above floor noises. We never used the pool as our friends' house had it's own pool we used. Our only complaint is we were unaware the month of august is jellyfish time!! We only waded in surf but the beaches were perfect for riding your bikes. And with so much to do around Hilton Head we still kept busy. I rated Location as "Very Good" because I think we would have fared better with the jelly fish if we were on the other side of the Island. The staff at Destination Vacations are top drawer. Wonderful service, awesome staff ... I left 2 drawers of clothes and they shipped to me the next day. Thanks for great memories!

We are long time visitors to HHI, Sea Pines and Beachside Tennis. We have stayed in a number units and really enjoyed this one. While it is a bit farther from the pool, it was quiet and closer to the beach. Nice upgrades through out. You cannot see the ocean from the unit, but the deck was great. We would stay there again.

We spent 5 days prior to Heritage week here with our 3 children. 1st, it is a great time to go. The weather was perfect and there are no crowds. The condo is in a super location. The first floor was convenient for getting to the beach, and we even had some ocean views. The bedrooms are quite large. There is plenty of clothes storage. The furnishings were also quite nice. Everything is well maintained and clean. I would only suggest the addition of more silverware and large coffee mugs. We would certainly rent again!

Our corner ground floor condo was especially pleasant when the sun was shining, we enjoyed three sitting areas - two watching the Calibogue sound and one off the kitchen area with teak table and chairs and a woods view. Since we are golfers, we missed the Golf Channel, a must for visitors of Hilton Head,a name synonymous with golf. We did get out to play a couple of courses on the island, they are challenging with tight fairways. Resort golf can sometimes be slow, for the women in our group, it was not a problem. Later in the day, many of the courses offer discounted greens fees.
Although it has been a cold Spring everywhere, the walking trails were perfect in the mornings, later in the day there are more bikes, which seemed to be lots of fun for all family members. We headed over to Salty Dog cafe area for hearty breakfasts on a couple of days. The management there maintains very clean grounds around the parking lots, children's playground (small) and wharf area.
If you are looking for a beautiful, non-commercial, environmentally friendly vacation destination, Hilton Head is perfect. You can find typical city attractions out on the main highway e.g. Target, Panera, Starbucks and discount shopping malls...
Peaceful and serene

This condo was the perfect location. Not too far from the beach, quiet area. The only complaint is the freezer, the door is too hard to open there is a problem with it. And my husband being an electrician was not happy about the extension cords in the master bedroom. I would recomend it to friends and may book it again. It was and enjoyable place to be for a week.

Our experience with Destination Vacation was amazing. Our Villa was exactly as pictured and, when we weren't running around, eating out, playing golf or shopping, we were so grateful for our "home away from home", with all its comforts. The Villa rental gave us the much-needed time for reminiscing, relaxing, having a late breakfast, playing games together, etc. A hotel would not have sufficed! The easy access to the pool and the beach were just what we needed when we wanted to stay close and not be "on the run". And to The Hopper Shopper, we do not know what we would have done without you. We walked in after a 14-hour drive, and everything we asked you to purchase was there! We'll be back...to the exact same Villa...next year! Thank each of you, again, for all that you did for us!

This is the second year that we have rented 1820 Beachside Tennis. Upgrades in the bathrooms were great. Kitchen has everything that you will need. Even a large stock pot perfect for making Beaufort Stew. Our favorite part of 1820 is the wraparound porch and the easy access to the beach. For our purposes the location was perfect as we are tennis players. However, you will spend alot of time in the car if you do not plan your outings accordingly. Views are wonderful, so relaxing. Enjoy working with Destination Vacation. We have tried Vrbo twice, however owners cannot disconnect themselves with their homes and are overbearing. Also, the two Vrbo had no provision for cleaning and who wants to clean a unit when you are anxious to get home.
We will rent again.
A Great Place To Stay

This was our second stay in #1820 and our fourth year in Beachside Tennis. Being on the first floor is very convenient as far as getting in and out, although the views are better from higher floors. Also,
#1820 is a corner unit with a nice wraparound porch. Very nicely decorated. We like the proximity to the South Beach Marina (within easy
walking distance) but were disappointed that The Land's End Tavern was closed for renovations. This, however, made us go out and visit some restaurants that we hadn't been to before. We plan on going back again next year. We love Sea Pines and the privacy of South Beach and you are not that far away from the rest of the island.

Great location. We have stayed @ Beachside
Tennis over 15 years, and 1st time we had a unit that need many things done. Guest bath needs new commode. Plumber there 2 times and it still leaked, won't flush properly. Fridge freeze unable to use,due to broken door., Living room slider lock not working had to use a heavy object to unlock., Master bedroom lamp causing shortage and tripped breakers all the time. Too many extension cords used behind beds causing
shock. I was on vacation, I did not like to be waiting for people to correct or not
correct items. Will not use this unit again if not propery fixed. Oherwise, owner did
provide ample dishes,glasses, linens etc.

This is our 15th or so year traveling to Sea Pines and we think we have finally found our life long vacation villa. I would love to lie to everyone so that no one else rents it but i just can't. It's the best location, the most incredible wrap around porch, i always get amazing pictures (sun up and sun down) and just simply love it. In fact this year we can now claim that we were able to comfortably entertain 15 of our extended family with a shrimp boil wihtout any problem! We just love it! And Destination Vacation is a fabulous company to work with. They followed up with a phone call Monday to ensure all was in order! Extaordinary customer service! Love 'em!
