1301 Villamare is a completely renovated 3rd floor villa with breathtaking oceanfront views. When entering this villa the main living area, kitchen, dining and master bedroom are to your right. The new kitchen has custom cabinets, new appliances, granite counters and a breakfast bar accented with wainscoting.
The living and dining area offers direct oceanfront views. The master bedroom has a king bed, 32 inch wall mounted flat screen and balcony. The balcony is shared with the living room, providing a spectacular view of the ocean directly over the pool. The service representatives were very friendly and helpful when we placed our reservations. They even sent us recommendations for local restaurants and activities. The villa was comfortable and inviting and well furnished. Proximity to the beach could not have been better and the pool was clean and convenient.
We love Hilton Head and would someday like to retire to South Carolina! -

Great vacation, the weather, and the golfing was good.The condo has a great view of the ocean, and the building is very well maintaned and next to 3 golf courses,the apartment could use some minor repaires( painting, new screen doors that fell out every time you tried to open it,and the furniture is getting a little tired,but i am sure it will be looked after soon,)
the one thing we did not like was the old fashion bat tub and the pipes connected to it running down the wall in the middle of the master bedroom,it looked complitely out of place, or at least it could use some sort of partition so you don't see it as soon as you wake up.( we used it as a laundry basket) also it could use a dresser with a mirror, the second bedroom looks great, othervise we had a fantastic time and looking forward to next year and we will continue to deal with The rental company that gave us good service : ( Beach properties of H.H,

Just left 1301 after staying the last week We have stayed at Villamere several other times at another place We decided to choose this one because the description sounded good with the updates. Wrong!! Each morning the tiles were damp and our granddaughter came in one morning and slipped and fell.Needs new living room furniture bad. The paint on the living room picture window was peeling off which is dangerous for kids. Kitchen was nice and updated, but the job needs to be finished through out for the price paid for a week.

Location was great, view was wonderful, there were some maintenance & housekeeping issues.
Couch was dirty, and there was candy stuck to the throw pillows. Rug under coffee table was dirty when we arrived.
Paint was peeling around picture window.
When we arrived two of the smoke alarms were beeping due to low batteries. I called maintenance and left a message, no one called back so in two hrs I called back, gentleman said he would have someone sent out. After another hour my husband called back and the gentlman stated that there was no record of a prior call. He said no one could get there that night and instructed my husband on how to unwire the smoke alarms so they would not beep. Finally after several hours of beeps it was quite. Mid afternoon the next day a gentleman showed up to fix them and install new batteries.
There was also a condensation issue each morning in the kitchen in front of the refrigerator. Luckily no one fell but several of us slid in the kitchen. We had to keep a towel on the floor to help with the water. Something appeared to not be quit right in that area. There were no leaks just a slick coating of water on the tiles each morning. -

Outstanding scenery of the beach/ocean; updates to condo well-received and enhanced value. Response to service needs was excellent.
Need new living room furniture; privacy screen for Master Bath and larger tub; reorient TV and furniture in Living Room to direct view to ocean when seated. -

1301 Villamare is a beautiful place to stay. You are right on the beach and overlooking the pool. Beach Properties of Hilton Head make your planning and your stay very pleasurable.

Overall, we again had a rgeat expeirence with one of your properties. I do have the following suggestions for 1301 Villamare:
1.) install shelves in the closet in the kitchen. There is very little storage room for food in this rental unit.
2.) replace or clean the couches in the family room area. There were stains on them.
3.) repair the drain pipes in the free-standing bathtub in the master suit. We could not use it because it leaked all over the floor. -

This condo has awesome ocean views from every window. If you want ocean front, this is a great one! Management company was very accommodating with a special need that we had. Very pleased!

We stayed 6 days and hated to leave. Nicely decorated with newer kitchen. Enjoyed the pools, beach and 3 flat screen TVs. Rooms are very large except for the bathrooms. (Minor suggestion - lose the rubber backed mattress pad on the king bed, it makes for a sweaty night's sleep.)

STAYED AT MANY OCEAN FRONT CONDOS IN LAST 40 YEARS.
1301 VILLAMARE WAS THE BEST.
USUALLY ONE BEDROOM DOES NOT GET VIEW OF OCEAN, NOT HERE. IN FACT BOTH ALSO HAD BALCONIES.
LIVING AREA WAS SPACIOUS AND ALSO HAD ACCESS TO A BALCONY AND A BEAUTIFUL GLASS VIEW OF OCEAN.
OUTDOOR POOL WAS HUGE AND HEATED IN APRIL WITH GOOD SIZE INDOOR POOL THAT WE ONLY NEEDED ONE DAY. WORKERS WERE EVER PRESENT; CLEANING,FIXING, AND TAKING CARE OF PROPERTY.
THIS WASN'T IOWA OR OHIO OR HEAVEN, BUT IT WAS THE BEST LOCATION AND CONDO WE HAVE EVER STAYED AT IN THE LAST 4 DECADES.
ALREADY PLANNING RETURN AFTER GRANDKIDS 9,8,AND 6 GET THEIR FIRST VISIT TO DISNEY NEXT YEAR.

Pleasant view with good sun.
Reasonably well modernized with excellent new air handling unit, & flooring in good condition. Had issues with kitchen refrigerator, clothes washer, & washer bi-fold door ... all should be fixable, but was an annoyance. Living room couch & chair should be up-graded, & not sure where to find deck table? However, given our standards are reasonably above average, we probably would consider returning. -

I have stayed with Beach Properties before and each year I experience the same fabulous service. 1301 Villamare is a great unit with an awesome view. I would highly recommend this unit as well as Beach Properties.
We did have an issue with the refrigerator, which was taken care of quickly.
