1414 South Beach Villa is one of the nicer Hilton Head SC vacation rentals located in the famous Sea Pines Plantation. Thistastefully decorated Townhouse is just steps from the beach, and a very short walk to the highly desirable South Beach Marina. Guests can enjoy shopping, dining, boating, and nightly entertainment. They also have access to the South Beach Community pool, which is open seasonally.

The rental was nice except for the cockroaches! Sea Pines Plantation was exceptional! It was a beautiful area and the rental was located close to the pool and a lovely marina with restaurants and shopping. The keys did not work and an entire new lock mechanism had to be installed. The sliding back door did not open. All in all, we said we would return just not in that particular rental.

I am sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during your stay. I am not sure what happened with the front door lock as it had not been rekeyed anytime in the recent past. The only thing was that the tumblers inside the lock had finally given out. I had the slider rollers replaced in the sliding door and also having the door to the trash yard replaced. As for the palmetto bugs, they are a constant source of irritation, especially during the summer months but a trouble spray was performed and I have not heard any issues since.

This was our 8th annual spring vacation to Hilton Head, with the last 5 years being joined by our children and grandchildren. Our 5 year old granddaughter, knows the island like she knows her own neighborhood, including all the restaurants and the golf courses. Last year our newest grandson joined us at age 4 weeks, so this year at age 1, it was enjoyable to see him on the beach and in the sand and water for the first time. Each of the 8 years we have visited HH in the spirng we have worked with Beach Properties and primarily have rented on Sea Pines and the South Beach area, using this particular villa twice and each time we have enjoyed our stay. You simply can not beat waking up in the morning and looking out over the water and being directly on the beach - that convenience is worth the extra cost vs. staying inland.

My siblings and I stayed with our children and what perfect place for all of us. We were just a few steps away from dolphin watching, bike riding, shopping, and nice meals. Everything was at our fingertips. Every bedroom had an ocean view. The pictures don't do justice to the relaxing atmosphere. We loved it and will return again.

This was our first vacation to Hilton Head and I had the task of satisfying all of the family needs. A son and husband who play tennis daily and a mother and daughter who only want oceanfront accommodations. This fit our needs perfectly. Great oceanfront view from the unit, easy walk to the amazingly quiet beach and right across the street from South Beach Tennis Club. We had it all and loved it. An added plus, the Salty Dog is a short stroll across the street for those steamed shrimp and icy cold beverages and of course, the obligatory t-shirt.

Perfect location for a family who likes to go from beach/pool/bikerides and happy hour!!! The kids played and the adults relaxed...We will be back!!!
