This one bedroom condo is adorable! It is small, but the space is very well laid out. The kitchen has been updated with new cabinets and countertops and is very well equipped. The stack washer and dryer are in the kitchen, but was not a problem. The unit looks out onto the creek going into South Beach Marina, with a nice grassy area in between the patio and creek. The bedroom also has a water view and a great walk-in closet, plenty of room for clothes and suitcases. The bath is spacious with a large double vanity, tile floor and tub/shower combo.
The decor is attractive and comfortable. Very close to South Beach and right next door to Lands End. We enjoyed our stay in this condo!

Wonderful accommodations. Clean and well-kept condo. Nice view of the sound from your back patio. Large grassy area in back for kids to play. Beach is across the street - not a long walk. Minimal waves on beach due to location and you do see SC mainland as you look out from beach. The small shopping area a few blocks away is wonderful. Salty Dog Cafe and other restaurants and good local shopping along with a general store. Great.
Best location for the price, period!

Our first trip to Hilton Head was a wonderful experience. We loved the fantastic location of this 1725 Bluff Villa, and it certainly didn't break the bank. Two adults and a pack n play are easily accommodated. Kitchen is well stocked, furnishings are comfortable. We stayed over Labor Day week, and the crowds were super low - really only locals and snowbirds were around! Steps away from the beach (looove the Land's End area!) where dolphins are spotted daily or the clean and private marina pool (which our one-year-old preferred). We ate great at South Beach, biked easily to other areas and enjoyed grilling out with fantastic views of the cove. Sea Pines is gorgeous; your drive in will welcome you with spanish moss and oak trees! Stay here.
An Okay Experience

When we arrived I noticed that the bedroom had not been vacuumed. There was a mossy type clumb under the night table and another one a short distance away. Realize I should have called and requested someone come in and vacuum it up; however, I decided to do it myself. The kitchen was very well equipped. The carpeting in the living room and bedroom definitely needs cleaning. Dirt is imbedded in the tile baseboard in the bathroom and the light switches definitely needed to be cleaned. We loved the location because it is very close to the home our son has rented for the past 5 years. We would like to return next summer but don't think we would rent this property again.

Great location to the beach, pool and The Salty Dog. Larger than I expected for a one bedroom. Good furniture. Great resourses and pamphlets were waiting for us. Beach Properties was great to work with! Only negative was that it looked as though the cleaning service spent less than ten minutes cleaning. The bathroom mats were dirty and there were coffee rings on the night stands. We bought cleaning supplies to scrub the bathroom and washed the mats and sheets. Had the room been cleaned as it should have been, the villa would have exceeded our expectations!

I greatly enjoyed my stay at 1725 Bluff Villa. It was only a short bike ride away from The Salty Dog. The room was clean, with plenty of towels, shampoo, soap, etc, and the room temperature was easy to change. The only real complaint I had was that the shower rod which holds the shower curtain has considerable amounts of rust on it. Other than that, the room was great.

The condo was fairly nice but took some time to get to from the bridge and was hard to find in the dark. The air conditioner did not work properly during most of our stay and leaked water on the carpet in the dining area. We will probably choose another location during our next trip. Read more

Bluff Villa Experience

This is our first villa experience as we have usually rented homes in HHI. The villa was a little dated, but it was comfortable and had a pretty good location. One negative regarding the location is that the beach that is the closest is quite narrow and not really a place to sit and build sand castles. Otherwise, it was a nice, quiet location with great proximity to South Beach.

Received a great price for this condo and in a great location to pool, bike rentals and Salty Dog area. Everything walking distance. Only wish it had a more comfortable mattress. Otherwise, everything was wonderful.

The villa facility was clean, roomy enough, and relaxing. It was a quiet atmosphere. However, it was at the tip of the island which we had to travel further to get to restaurants and shopping. We never did know where the pool was located. It wasn't on the villa grounds.
This property was very cozy and comfortable!

This was our second time using Beach-Properties. We rented a 4 bdrm house last summer for the family vacation and booked 1725 Bluff at the last minute for spring break. The folks at Beach Properties are very easy to work with and their check in/check out process couldn't be easier. We got there on Sunday and didn't see the sun til Friday but it was warmer than at home, it wasn't snowing, and I wasn't at work. The condo was very nice and overlooked the bay into South Beach Marina. I like to fish and all I had to do was walk across the street to fish in the Calibogue Sound. Restaurants and shopping are a 5 minute walk away. I will definitely stay there again.
Very clean and quiet very nice condo

My husband and I visited this location for our anniversary. We really enjoyed ourselves. Its very quiet, clean, and comfortable. Its a good place to go if you want to relax. We were able to cook our own food, and wash our clothes before we left, that was a big plus for me, yea didn't have to wash clothes when we came back home LOL!
A great vacation

The unit was very clean and plenty of room for the 4 of us. My wife and I traveled with 2 small children and this one bedroom unit had plenty of room for us all. The view was wonderful of the sound. We were able to watch all the boats coming in and out of the South Beach Marina and the walk to the beach was only about 100 yards. The unit was close to all the things that we wanted to do and we rented bikes for the week to ride over to Harbortown so we only had to get into our car a couple of times during the week.
It's a very nice, quiet property and conveniently located.

Bathroom could use better cleaning -- i.e., green gel [toothpaste?] in two different spots on bathroom wall, large food crumbs in/on bathroom rugs -- left-hand sink clogged, does not drain well at all. Everything else was very nice.

just a few issues: I think there is a roof leak, lay in the master bed & look up and in that corner of the room, looks like some mold stains on the ceiling? internet was a problem, I called Hargray on my own and got it worked out in about 40 minutes of phone time, appears the wireless unit is connecting into another "unit", I was constantly getting kicked offline, I take work on vacation and oncall a lot so it matters! all in all a great unit, one of the best we've stayed at in the Bluffs, nice kitchen & furnishings, will be back! Thank you for choosing Beach Properties and your comments.
All of our properties have internet access so I will look into why you were having such difficulty. I have never had a comment about the stain on the bedroom ceiling, but will have that looked at also.
Thank you again for choosing Beach Properties and we hope to see you back in the future!

Villa was very clean and neat. Carpeting had just been cleaned. Great view of Braddock cove and comfortable outdoor furniture. Kitchen nicely updated, but needs better under counter lighting. New flat screen TV in living room. Overall, a good experience.

We truly loved this place, and we are coming back this April. It was very dusty, and needed some extra cleaning. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean and that is very important.
I think that the owner should have nicer wash cloths for the bathroom. They were very thin, and that had me washing every day. If we would have been given 2 each, I would not have done laundry every day. That would save on water and electricity. I may just bring our own this spring. I have my own cleaning business so I may find more fault than the average family. And I did not mind the cleaning of it - I had fun. I was away from home and at Hilton Head - you can't get any better than that! Read more

Thank you for your comments and I have shared them the housekeeping company that services this villa. They restock their inventory every year and we constantly ask for higher thread count for both linens and terry products, so these comments help promote our cause!

We had a wonderful time on Hilton Head. We were very pleased with our Villa. It was very clean, everything looked very nice, no scratches, dents, or marks on anything. We have recommended this villa to others who thought of going to Hilton Head. I liked it that we were on the ground floor, we sat out every morning and drank coffee and watched the boaters go buy, look at the water. We were really amazed at how the the tide goes and comes every day. Very interesting. We did like that place.

have stayed in this unit many times (4)- like it because it is on the ground floor- did wash stained blanket and bath mats, otherwise it is fairly clean with well stocked kitchen. Rugs are clean but a worry to keep them that way. Sliding glass door is very difficult to open and close. Often come in the Spring- have also stayed in 1798,when we require a 2 bedroom.

My husband and I stayed at 1725 Bluff Villa and it was a perfect condo for us to stay for the week. It was nicely decorated and had all the amenities we could ask for. We loved the fact we had a patio with a grill. We also loved the location, walking distance to Salty Dog and across the walk way to the beach. We will definitely stay there again and even upgrade to a larger one in the future!!
