1877 Beachside Tennis is a newly renovated 4th floor, corner villa in Sea Pines, Hilton Head, SC. This vacation rental boasts a wrap around deck with panoramic views of the pool and Calibogue Sound. It is also located in the highly desirable South Beach Marina area, where guests can enjoy the convenience of a short walk to shopping, dining, entertainment and boating activities.

wonderful complex, beautiful condo loved the location. A few draw backs were at that particular area the beach is "gone for about 3-4 hours everyday because of the tide" If you walk towards the left about 1/8-1/4 of a mile, they have much more beach in prime times 11-3pm I would love for every homeowner in that complex to provide 1 hour of free tennis a day. (It is a golf/tennis resort) and with the prices of the condos, I don't think it would be a big deal to provide this to everyone who stays.

The title says it all. In addition, it's close to the Salty Dog so you can walk to a nice place where you can have a drink and dinner. It would be even nicer if the price were a bit lower, especially considering the economy and the time of year that we visited.

This was the best unit I have ever rented in Beach Side Tennis and we have been staying there for over 10 years. I also loved the beach bucket filled with info on the kitchen counters, the fact that there were several garbage bags, a new roll of paper towels and the unit was very clean and meticulously maintained.I am an interior decorator so the ambiance of the unit is very important to me. This unit was lovely.

We had a great stay at the condo. It was very clean, plenty of space, great layout and great location. The pool was wonderful and there was a short walk to the beach. Elevators worked great for moving in and out. Parking was always available close to the building. We were a short walk across the street to the Salty Dog. We will definately stay here again.

Great family vacation. Condo at Beachside tennis (1877) was excellent as it had been remodeled in the last couple of years. Grounds/pool was very nice, but the pool a little chilly early in season.

Condo was excellent..very well appointed with kitchen dishes, silverware etc...Very clean and well stocked with paper towels, garbage bags, dishwashing detergent and information on HHI...A wonderful stay and the weather was perfect for dinner on the balcony overlooking the sunsets over the sound.

This apartment is just perfect! Excellent views over the pool to the ocean provided by the wrap around balcony. High table and stools on balcony provided perfect place for breakfast and early evening drinks. Beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Everything had been thought of - except - batteries for the torch - a must when out walking/cycling in the evening.

This unit is really fantastic. Everything was sooo nice. I loved the balcony. I loved the kitchen and bathrooms. It was beautfilly decorated and felt just like home. The cooling system did not keep the bedroom cool enough for me at night however and that was a little difficult. There were rules about what to keep the settings on which frankly were too strict. When I pay a lot of money to stay somewhere, I really need to be able to be comfortable when I sleep at night. The only other downside was the walk to the beach. We were beachfront, but you had to walk a fair amount to get to a good beach location and when you are hauling a bunch of stuff, it can be somewhat of a pain. I did love the location in general of the unit, being so close to the Salty Dog, etc. so nice to just walk to eat or go get ice cream. Overall, was a nice trip and the unit, as I said is extremely nice.

What is important to us when we travel is that the entire experience from the initial booking to updates, arrival, the stay and the departure happens as expected without any unexpected problems and is as promised. Our visit to Hilton Head and specificaly 1877 Beachside tennis far exceeded the expectations we had wanted. Excellent accomodations and a very helpful and knowledgable staff. Overall a wonderful experience and to the owners of 1877 Beachside Villa a big "thumbs up" on the furnishings and your villa. Excellent in all respects. We are considering a 3 month stay the next time.

This was our second time staying in this building (we love the location) and this unit was far superior to the previous one we rented. It was renovated beautifully, and made us feel like we were staying at a friend's house instead of a rental. Having said that, it was a bit more expensive than we would have liked - if we weren't renting so late, we might have gone for a less expensive unit.

We received great service from Beach Properties of Hilton Head before and during our rental period.
The unit is nicely furnished with many extras and conveniences. The kitchen is completely equipped and features quality appliances.
The location is excellent and we had many beautiful sunsets over the sound.
We liked the condo enough that we have already reserved it for Jan & Feb 2011.
The only things that could be improved are the wireless internet which is very slow and the cable package which does not have HD although the TVs are HD capable.
