2220 Windsor II is a fantastic 3 bedroom, 3 bath Gold Star Hilton Head condo rental with spectacular oceanfront views from the wrap-around balcony and most rooms. From the moment the guest enters the 2nd floor villa, there is a feeling of being transported to a tropical paradise. Designer decorated with hand-painted walls and murals throughout, every room is well-appointed to make this the perfect beach vacation.

The entrance foyer is flanked by a tall display of bamboo and beachy decorations, with wood floors leading into the kitchen on the left and the spacious living ro...om straight ahead. The living room has an attractive L-shaped leather couch with a built-in chaise lounge, 2 spinning armchairs, and a palm tree. Lots of windows offer fabulous views of the gorgeous grass yard with lush landscaping, and the Atlantic Ocean. Unwind while watching a movie on the large flat screen TV with DVD. A wet bar and wine cooler are provided as well.

The kitchen has updated counter tops, double sinks, and a breakfast bar with bright colored leather stools. A laundry room is off to the side. Adjacent to the kitchen is a fun and eclectic dining room with a long red metal table with 8 high back leather chairs. To the right is a round wicker table with 4 slip-covered chairs with fish designs, great for an early breakfast, or to play cards. In the corner there is an artistic sculpture of wood pilings to make you feel like you are Down at the Docks. Guests can enjoy the panoramic view of the yard, palm trees and ocean while dining. There are 2 entrances out to the elongated wrap-around balcony. With plenty of outdoor seating, start your day with a morning cup of coffee, and watch the sunrise. Mid-afternoon kick back with a tall glass of lemonade in one of the lounge chairs and enjoy the seagulls. A screened porch can be accessed from both the dining area and the living room, and has a wrought iron table that seats four.

Guests will delight in the colorful bedroom to the left of the dining room. There is a king bed with a beautiful comforter with macaw birds on it, with matching parrot paintings on the wall. A giant palm tree in the corner and decorative pillows add to the fun. There is a private bath with a combination tub/shower with Jacuzzi jets. A built-in hair dryer is there for your convenience, and a little fake parrot in a cage adds to your enjoyment. The bedroom has a TV, access to the large balcony, and an oceanfront view. From the front door entrance of 2220 Windsor II, the main master bedroom is on the right. There is an elaborate beach scene on the walls depicting sea oats, a palm tree, and a lobster. There is a large mounted TV with DVD, a desk, and a good-sized private balcony overlooking the ocean to revel in breath-taking sunsets. A wonderful private bath with a garden Jacuzzi tub, separate glass shower, tiled floor, and double sinks is like a little Oasis.The third bedroom is straight across from the front entrance. A door leads into the bathroom that has a shower only. A second door connects to the guest bedroom with 2 bunk bed sets. There is a built-in dresser with bright fish paintings on it, a rocking chair, and a direct oceanfront view over the lawn. 2220 Windsor II is a great place to relax and enjoy your beach vacation!   My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this villa. The views were magnificient, the grounds were clean and spacious. For a few days we had a total of 10 people staying in our villa and there was more than enough room for all of us. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Working with Beach Properties of Hilton Head halt to make our first Hilton Head experience absolutely wonderful.

  Nice layout, could be cleaner

  Very functional layout for an extended family especially with young children, but housekeeping was not up to par. Dust bunnies rolling across the floor were not inviting. Router for wireless Internet was unreliable and caused family members to spend a great deal more time dealing with that than they would have preferred.

  The Windsor II was an excellent place to stay. It was close to the ocean, close to the pool and close to any other amenity that one would need. Check-in and check-out was effortless. I would suggest anyone stay at the Windsor II that desires a lovely vacation.

  The separation of the bedrooms worked extremely well for my husband and me, son and daughter-in-law our two grandsons (3&5) and my daughter-in-laws parents. Even though the boys loved playing in the sand, the kid section of the pool seemed to be their favorite place to swim. Well equipped kitchen with. The owners are obviously grandparents with kid-friendly table, dishes and trundle bed.

  This unit has great 180 degree views of the ocean and is right on the beach. It is very roomy and comfortable, although some of the furnishings are better suited for smaller kids.

  Our family rented this unit last year. It has a screened porch and great view of the ocean. The unit is decorated beautifully and we loved the pool and beach so we rented this unit again for 2010. It did not look like anything had been touched in this unit since we were there a year ago! The floors were very dirty and shutters and fake plants were caked with packed on dust! We called maintenance to fix the front door - it would not close completely, the screened porch needed scrubbed (if this rental was the middle of June how could the screened porch be so dirty!) the screens. floor & tables were black not to mention a wasp nest was removed. After these items were taken care of, we were able to use the porch. Maintenance offered to clean the shutters and dust but we said no - didn't want all of that dust settling on us and our belongings! I mopped all the floors and cleaned the bathrooms. I had to buy toilet bowl cleaner - the toilets were that bad! I do not think much of the cleaning service used and we are to receive a return on the cleaning charges. It is a shame because this unit is so nice! The pool area is nice too but this year there were some kids that were allowed to terrorize the little children with huge squirt guns and were "targeting" 4 and under kids. Speaking to the parents did nothing - they were too busy drinking beer! I will not stay at a place again that does not have some kind of guard or attendant on hand. We as a family had decided this was going to be our Hilton Head get-away but have changed our minds after this year's experiences.

  Windsor II 2220 a Gem !!!

  For the last 8 years we've stayed one or more weeks at Hampton Place, so I felt cautious about renting at Windsor II. I can tell you that Windsor II is every bit at nice as Hampton and this particular unit is beautifully decorated and has ocean views from all rooms. We found 2220 very clean and the owners welcomed us by leaving a bottle of Merlot. Thank you.

  Relaxing Vacation

  This was an excellent choice for vacationing at Hilton Head. Our place gave us easy 1 floor access to the parking garage. Although it is farthest from the elevator if that makes a difference to you. Beach and pool access is directly across from the elevator so if you are inclined to carry a bunch of stuff with you, it is easy enough to avoid steps completely.
  
  I really liked the touchpad entry to the apartment so you don't have to mess with keys or keeping track of them.
  
  Check-in/out was the simplest we've encountered in any of our visits to SC beaches. No standing in lines, waiting for clerks or having to drive out of the way to drop off keys.
  
  This part of the beach is easily accessible to any of the area restaurants.
  
  I can't think of a downside to our stay, which is the way a vacation should be. It would be nice if the airlines had better fares to/from SAV, but we were going back through ATL so dropped off a family member there.
