Convenient to the beach, tennis and golf. The pool was a great hit with the kids. We had a family reunion with 3 houses and this definitely was the best. Very well equiped. We would definitely like to come back to this house for our next reunion.

Princeton, NJWould not rent this home again
Left on 06/21/2012 for a stay in May 2012
While the layout of the home was nice, it has a "stuck in the 80's" feel to it. All the large windows were beautiful but, in the Master Bedroom and bathroom, there was no privacy, as these windows were had no blinds or shades. Across the lagoon from the home, there is a hotel and high rise condo's. Spotlights from these areas shine all night and are very visible in the Master Bedroom, not to mention the light of day when the sun comes up. The people on the walking path on the other side of the lagoon also had direct view into the Master Bath. From the Master Bath, I could see them very clearly. The swimming pool, while a decent size, was continually filled with leave and tree debris. It took over an hour, every day, just to clean the pool prior to swimming. Also, being across from the hotel, there was a constant noise of delivery trucks passing by on the other side of the lagoon - not very peaceful when trying to relax at the pool. We did have an issue with the outdoor grill not working and Beach Properties replaced it immediately, so for that we were grateful. We had some other minor repairs that were needed and the lock on the patio door did not work, so a wooden dowell rod was what held the door in the "locked" position.
As a renter for a week at the start of high season, I would have expected the property managers to have thoroughly inspected the home and taken care of these issues prior to our stay, so that was a bit disappointing. -

We enjoyed this home and the spacious rooms. One of the most well equipped kitchen in a rental home, making it just like home for cooking when we wanted but not all the time ;) as it was a vacation!

Murrysville, PAWe Liked Property So Much... June 2011 was our Second Visit
Left on 07/07/2011 for a stay in June 2011
37 St. George is a beautiful HHI home in a wonderful location... convenient to ocean and beaches and restaurants within Palmetto Dunes and Shelter Cove... a great "center island location". As former Palmetto Dunes property owners ourselves, we appreciate the efforts the owners of 37 St. George have made to ensure visitors have a wonderful vacation during their stay on Hilton Head Island.

Left on 08/04/2010 for a stay in July 2010
The house was lovely, unfortunately, we did experience a few problems. The pool system was not working properly during our stay. Mid week, we called and they had to shock the pool because the chlorine dispensing system was not working. We were unable to use the pool that morning. We had a few palmetto bugs in the house during our stay. They were on the carpets daily and a few startled my nephew during the night when he work to find three of them on him! It may be time for an additional extermination! Aside from that, the house was lovely and we had a great time! There was plenty of room for everyone to have their personal space and the house was very clean! Thank you!!

The house is very open and roomy. The location could not be better. We loved riding our bikes to the General Store, beach and other locations. The pool was fantastic and we certainly spent a lot of time in it! I love to bake and teh kitchen could not have been better. Thank you.

Buffalo, NYLovely home, even if managment lacking
Left on 04/28/2010 for a stay in April 2010
This is a spectacular home: large, lush, great location just a short walk from the beach (but why walk, rent a bike, the best way to get around Palmetto Dunes).
The home is beautifully decorated. Gorgeous artwork. Comfy beds. Fab kitchen. Plenty of dining space (though, the dining room is almost too lush: light-colored upholstered chairs and new rug...we were afraid to let the kids eat in there).
Beach Properties is not doing the best of jobs in taking care of this property, though. When we arrived, there was a lot of black plant debris on the bottom of the pool. I didn't think it had been cleaned in awhile (should have been done that day). Beach Properties did call and ask how the property was, my sister talked to them, and they assured her the pool had been cleaned that day...there was a lot of stuff coming off the trees, so I thought perhaps they were telling the truth. However, it rained one night and the pool company came out to service the pool (as they are supposed to after a rain). It then became clear that the pool had not been vacuumed before we arrived...several days later there still was hardly any dirt on the bottom compared to when we arrived.
The home is clean, but the cleaners don't really "clean corners." Still, you won't be disappointed with this home!
Also, on that first call to BP, we mentioned that one of the kitchen cabinets was off its hinge. They sent someone to repair it immediately, but the person they sent seemed to have no respect for the property. They must have made the repair using the corian counter as a workbench! We came home to find the corian all scratched up and a sharp screw on the floor underneath (which, had their been a baby in the house, could have been very dangerous). Fortunately, once we wiped away the work dust, the scratches didn't look bad...but still, who uses a nice counter top to perform carpentry? Also, the hinge repair was a lousy job...the second time I opened it, it broke again. -

Left on 04/12/2010 for a stay in March 2010
We spent our family vacation at this lovely spacious home for the 5th time - we enjoyed the proximity to beach , golfing and shopping and the large kitchen and open living area. 4 "real " bedrooms are the only drawback for our family of 9 leaving one to sleep in the open loft (falling asleep late and waking up with our early bird). The house is well maintened .

We have stayed numerous times at 37 St. George Road and also other properties listed by Beach Properties; our favorite and the one we continue to return to is St. George. The home is very cozy, very appealing and makes you feel like you are home as you are away from home. We just love the property very much and Hilton Head Island.

West Chester, PASix Visits to 37 St. George
Left on 12/15/2009 for a stay in February 2009
The home at 37 St. George is beautifully appointed. The owners always make new upgrades every year. It is especially comfortable. We have now had a winter vacation of five or six weeks for the last six winters and plan to return again in 2010. The fact that there is a separate wing of the house that can serve as guest quarters is of real value. We always have friends and family visit while we are in residence and being able to have private quarters for them is especially valuable.
Beach Properties is a first class rental organization. They make sure that everything is in order. If there are any issues that need attention while we are in residence, a call to them brings a quick response and resolution of the particular issue.
We can give 37 St. George our unrestrained recommendation as a prime vacation location.
