Home is beautiful. I would recommend it for any golfer. The beach is a bike ride away, but cool during the early Spring.

We had a good time here with our family. The only thing that kept it from being great and wonderful was that the pool and hot tub were a bust. We had several choices of homes in this area, but chose this one simply for the pool location right off the family room and the hot tub located outside master bedroom. The pool was too cold to use, we could have paid an extra fee to heat it, however no one told us we would need to do so in late august. Never would I dream a pool could be freezing in 90 degree temperatures. Our granddaughter cried to go in so we finally gave in and let her swim one evening before dinner. Sure enough she was blue and teeth chattering when we made her get out. Woke up the next morning to her coughing and sick.
We tried to use the hot tub instead, however we never could get it to heat. It was cold also. Finally after two days we called the rental company and were told it was broken and that parts were on order. So, if you are renting this for the pool and hot tub... My suggestion would be to look elsewhere. The home is very nice and spacious. We found everything we could possibly want in the kitchen. No complaints as far as the home itself or the location and proximity to harbourtown shops and restaurants. Still, for what we payed for a four day rental we could have had a nice week long rental in a condo with a pool and jacuzzi.
This was supposed to be a very special long weekend trip for our family to celebrate our son being in remission from cancer. Instead, I ended up wishing we had gotten a different place so that he could swim and enjoy the hot tub in the evenings. We did enjoy ourselves in spite of the lack social activities. Still, it would have been nice to have them, especially since I was told I would, and this was the selling point for me. -

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was perfect for our family and very well stocked. We loved being close to Harbour Town (even if we sacrificed being a little closer to the beach). We plan to make this an annual trip and would like to rent from you again but would are torn because we want to rent from a company that is in the "resort card" program. This would have saved us a lot of money at the fitness center, racquet club and the sitting fee with Memory Lane portraits.
