The condo and vacation was great other than the a/c not working for two days, i had to call twice on the air not working. This also happened last year 2010 and before I stayed this year i specifically asked if that units a/c had been repaired. It is very hot in august and not very comfortable when the a/c is not working properly.

We stayed at Hampton 5107 and had a wonderful vacation. The grounds were beautiful, but had the weather no cooperated, we would have been very limited in terms of activities. Fortunately for us, we couldn't have asked for better weather. There was no indoor pool (a fact that I had missed when I was researching rentals--my fault). The outdoor pool was heated, and with the warm weather, the water got up to 86 degrees. We had a great time at the pool, but it would have been even better if the kiddie pool had been heated and the hot tub hadn't broken down. The beach was great and not a long walk at all. This was wonderful because with four boys, we were transporting lots of sand toys, towels, and coolers.
The pictures from Hilton Head Rentals and Golf were accurate, but they didn't show the broken window seals which resulted in a somewhat obstructed view of the pools and beach. They also showed a fabric-covered sectional couch, but when we got there, two leather couches had replaced it. Being in shorts or (dry) swimsuits, sitting on the leather couches was not cozy at all.
The rooms were spacious and, on first glance, clean; however, whenever we had the patio doors open and a breeze resulted, dust bunnies were blown around the floor from under the furniture. The patio itself was filthy. The patio furniture had not been cleaned in months and there were piles of leaves that had collected.
We were also disappointed by the fridge that didn't dispense water or ice, although the ice maker did work. The deadbolt also didn't work. I would have had concerns if I were alone or with a group of women, but with my husband there, this problem didn't concern me at much as it probably should have.

the service was superb,
the floors of the condo,the carpets were so durty
that we had to call the cleaning lady and ask
her to come and vacuum the carpets and wash and
clean the floors.
the balconny was full of dea leaves xxxxx
the rest was o.k.except the lighting in the living room we had to turn on the ceiling light if we
were reading,there is not sufficient lamps .
the best was the view of the sea even if in the
living room the windows have a problem of condensation,they need to be replace or fix.
