This 2nd floor, 2 bedroom, 3 bath villa, located only a few steps from the beach of the atlantic is one of our more popular Hilton Head rentals. This elevated single-level condo featuring living room, dining area, and 2 separate decks was renovated in the fall of 2010, which included all new paint, tile, carpet, living room furniture, bedding, and brand new flat screen tv's in both bedrooms.

This unit is one row back from the beach. Easy access from Palmetto Dunes round-a-bout, right next to the Dunes House. Also easy access back to Rt278. Two bedrooms are separated by the living area and have their own separate bathrooms, which is good for parents seeking to maintain sanity. Full kitchen is nice to serve breakfast and lunch (Publix & Piggly Wiggly are close by) so you can splurge on dinner a little. Alexander's is right around the corner, as is Big Jim's. Hilton Head Outfitters is also right around the corner for bike rentals (free locks, drop-off and pick-up, ~$150 for the week will get you 4 bikes and a child seat). Shelter Cove is an easy bike ride under Rt278 via a bridge (fireworks, Shannon Tanner and Cappy the Clown), and Chaplin Park is about a 2.5mi ride each way but is still easy too and worth it (great playset for the kids). The Vacation Company made check-in extremely easy by mailing the keys and plantation car pass (the check-in line Saturday morning was backed up onto Rt278 and we just zoomed right by). Additionally, helpful instructions on the telephone, wireless, and cable TV were readily available. With a 'starter' supply of towels, linens, TP, paper towels, trash bags, etc, you can relax on check-in day and shop for supplies later! We (family of 5 with kids 8, 5, & 2) plan on traveling back down from Ohio next year, and of course will use The Vacation Company again.

The layout of the villa was great. Great location to pool and beach. Had a few nights of noise from the Marriott--one of their freezers went out and they had a refrigerated truck running 24 hours per day that we could hear even with doors and windows closed. :(
We thought it was great to find a high chair for the toddler in a closet but the tray was dirty!!! -

As always, enjoyed our stay at the Moorings in Palmetto Dunes. Over the years we have stayed in various Moorings condos and they are always neat, exceptionally clean, comfortable, and close to the beach and this year was no exception. One comment, the light over the dining room table should be replaced as we probably banged our heads at least 20 times during the week. Top rating for the Vacation Company too. We have booked with them for more years than I can remember and have always received such courteous, fine service. thank you.

The unit was very clean and I would stay back in the same unit in the future. When we checked in we found 2 issues and called the management office and the were rectified within hours. This service is the best I have dealt with and I always recommend the Vacation Company. Fyi - this unit can use a safe for personal items. Most units I have stayed at do provide this.

Went with husband and two teenage children. Information packet was sent in plenty of time for us to plan some activities and go straight to the condo. Condo was spacious with everything we needed. Best of all it was only a five minute walk to one of the best beaches we have visited. Great Vacation!

We visit Hilton head more then 15 years and every year it is different. We are also always with the Vacation Company and we always had a very good treatment and beautyful condos.
We will be back next year again ! We love South Carolina !
