Very comfortable, Oceanside , 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa is convenient to the indoor pool and lounge. Located in building 4, it has been newly redecorated in white-washed furniture and bright colors, and with a large flat-screen tv in the living room. A good time was had by all...

Left on 07/13/2012 for a stay in June 2012

This unit lived up it its sales description, as did the resort overall. The grounds were lovely, the pools well maintained, and beach access was excellent, despite rough weather bringing in tons of seaweed. We were disappointed that the resort restaurant was out of business. It's a great location, and could have made our stay more enjoyable. On the other hand, if it was bad enough to fail, maybe we're lucky we didn't eat there. The facilities in the apartment were fine. One night our grandkids wanted to sleep in the pullout sofa. Like so many pullouts, it was pretty uncomfortable. I'm sure there's an insurance and maintainance issue, but there's no place to grill a steak outdoors. Other resorts have found a way around the problem. After we arrived, we found there was a large community room available, but we didn't know how to rent it. It would have been useful to know about that facility, because we could have used it for our family reunion. We had been warned that check-in could be difficult, so we weren't surprised at the hour-long wait to get onto the island. And at the resort itself, the elevators were extremely busy and luggage carriers were at a premium. The garbage bins overflowed onto the floor of the garage with leftover food and garbage. We had been warned, so we weren't too shocked. It's reassuring to say that, by Sunday morning, everything was clean and peaceful again. In short, we found everything in good order, and enjoyed both the unit and the resort.

Loved the beach, not the SeaCrest

Left on 06/05/2012 for a stay in May 2012

We vacation in Hilton Head every year, and we were excited to rent a cute condo in the SeaCrest because we enjoyed a previous stay there several years ago. We were very disappointed to find that the other guests were extremely rude and obnoxious. From drunken yelling at the pool to 3:00 am fights out in the hallway, I can honestly say I got the worst week of sleep in my entire life. We will never rent a condo here again.

Love Seacrest and North forest beach area

Left on 05/25/2012 for a stay in April 2012

We have stayed in the North Forest beach area since 1978. Started out in a family owned condo at Shorewood, now bring my own kids to Hilton Head since 1996. We have stayed at Shorewood, courtside and since mid 2000's at Seacrest.
2113 does not have a view of the beach and the deck overlooks the parking lot. However, the entire complex is oceanfront and it is very convenient to walk to pools and the beach. So, if you want a view, I have to be honest and say it does not have one, however, if you are active and don't intend to spend a ton of time on the deck, it won't matter to you. this would be the only reason I might give it a lower score, but, due to the limited view, you can get a decent deal rental wise and still have a terrific time.
Everything was clean, the rooms were large and so were the bathrooms. There was a nice table for dinners that seats 6, the kitchen was nice and the attached living area is nice. Also there is a washer and dryer in the unit.
We used both outdoor pools and it is nice that there is a workout room on the same level as the unit. We rented bikes from Pedals (we do every year) and it is fun to bike the beach at low tide. you can get a really good workout biking into the wind and biking with the wind on the way back. On this particular vacation I biked out to the right on the beach all the way around the bend where you can see Sea Pines Harbor (where boats come in) and there were large numbers of dolphins and their babies swimming against the current and diving. When I say large numbers it seemed to be close to 100 and it was cute to see to big dolphins dive and then see a tiny little one dive in the space in between them...
Location is awesome. It is across from coligny plaza so can get food at piggly wiggly or go grab lunch/dinner there.
Anyway, we had a great time!

      We had a wonderful time!!!

Left on 09/20/2010 for a stay in August 2010

We absolutely enjoyed ourselves at the Sea Crest! Can't really think of anything that could have improved our stay. The Vacation Company made everything simple, convenient, and easy. Would love to do it again!
