The Vacation Company is very efficient - always helpful and always courteous, thorough, and timely. This is our third year renting thru The Vacation Company. Highly recommend..#9 Lands End Road is a waterfront property. We enjoyed many sunsets...viewed from the beach and the screen porch! Conveniently located.
Liked least: We had five adults-one towel set per adult for a week.
One kitchen towel for dish drying. Stove is old and rusty. Burner
is crooked and would not lay flat. Mattresses need replacing. -

stayed at the same unit in june 2010. overall, the home was comfortable. a few changes though: cleaning upstairs was not done well - there were dead bugs under the beds; the bathroom had hair all over the floor; vcr in living room didn't work; and why isn't there a tv in downstairs bedroom? other 3 bedrooms have tv's. also, the outdoor furniture on deck is so old, that a windstorm cracked the back off of a plastic chaise lounge. they closed the pool on friday - no one knew why. please keep in mind that these are minor issues - the unit itself is quite nice.

I thought the location and the place was great! I would definitely go back and stay in this same house. The views were absolutely awesome from the house and the house was very nice, comfortable and lots of usable space. My husband loves to fish and he had access to the the ocean, and the sound which he really enjoyed. We had a wonderful experience and we are already planning our next trip.
I thought the carpets in the living room and dining room area and the couches could use a really good steam clean. They were both kind of dingy and spotty. I think furniture in vacation rentals should have to be cleaned some how some way every so often or maybe even use furniture covers. They are used so often when people stay at these homes that if they aren't cleaned like they are supposed to you just start to get an itchy feeling when sitting on them because of the cleanliness. I thought the decking boards and the boardwalk boards could use some updates. Some were rotted and it could be a hazard to young children and elderly.
But overall, we had a wonderul time and it was a great place to stay. I would definitely recommend it to others.
