Charlotte, NCGreat Location and Very Nice Condo
Left on 08/14/2012 for a stay in August 2012
We really enjoyed our stay at this Sea Pines condo. The condo is really nice and the location was great, a quick bike ride or walk to Harbour Town. The pool was very nice too. We would definitely come back.

Dayton, OHDisappointed
Left on 08/09/2012 for a stay in July 2012
This was our second stay at this unit, the first being in 2009. First, this unit has a great view, great location, and is spacious. Any shortcomings can be easily rectified.
The good: It's near Harbourtown, 50 feet from the pool, parking right in front, and beautiful marsh view out the back. Open and airy, tile floors on main level are nice, newer furniture in LR, fresh paint. A/C worked great on main level (little warmer upstairs, but not bad - an fans kept air moving). Grounds are well maintained.
The bad: The unit is dated and does appear to be maintained as well as it was in 2009. The shower control we had problems with in 2009 is still there, and felt like it would come off any time (it didn't). The blinds for the sliding glass doors had a missing slat (disconcerting at night), the blinds on the DR window had a broken adjuster (appeared someone attempted band-aid fix with piece of wire), and blinds in second BR were so thin that morning light flooded room at dawn. We knew about this last item and brought a heavy piece of plastic to mitigate.
Bed linens were just crammed into closets, along with mishmash of whatever has been left behind. Dishes and plates consisted of odd collection of mismatch items. We had to borrow a pot from friends in another unit to make spaghetti and bowls so we could all eat ice cream together. Gas grill would not light, either with ignitor or match, so we had to use friend's grill for the food we bought.
The ugly: Overall, the unit just wasn't clean. Dust and spider webs, dried up dead bugs in crevice along carpeted walls (fresh dead bugs are to be expected - it's SC in July!), pillow shams has bodily fluid stains, toilet seats (underside) were disgusting.
In the end, this unit starts with a lot of positives that are built in, such as location and view. If the little things are taken care of, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. -

Richmond, VAEvery thing we were looking for!
Left on 08/04/2012 for a stay in July 2012
The place was exactly what we were looking for! Home away from Home! We loved the roomy layout and patio view. The utility room was a great bonus for all those sandy towels and wet bathing suits, loved the seperate entrance into that room as well! Perfect distance for biking to the beach and walking to Harbourtown. Would definitely recommend this villa to friends and family.

Alpharetta, GaWe had a great time in the Villa.
Left on 08/25/2011 for a stay in August 2011
The villa was very nice and close to the Harbor Town. However, it was infested with ants in the kitchen area.
Also, we had several roaches inside the house usually late at night.
The house needs a good pest control plan. -

Cumming, GAGreat Location, subpar rental
Left on 06/21/2011 for a stay in June 2011
Our vacation was awesome. The unit was adequate but not a good value for the money spent. Upon bedtime first night we realized that two twin beds had no sheets. Called the next day and rec'd sheets. However, the mattresses must have been extra long because the fitted kept popping off. Dishwasher worked intermittently. Showers were old and had mold and no no drain covers. Soap would fall down the hole every time. 2nd full bath shower head was insane and spewed everywhere, provided pm entertainment for our boys. Villa was inundated with fiddler crabs which may be seasonal but we could not figure out where they were getting in. Dryer vent screen was broken. Toaster was broken/burnt everything. Air conditioner was inadequate for size of unit or outdated. Upstairs was hot. they had several portable fans but that didn't cool the unit. I've looked online at other villas at Stoney Creek, we will definately stay at stoney creek again, just not this villa. Space was it was great. Location was great. Just outdated and needs to be upgraded, esp. the aC unit.
