Walking through the front door to the right is a recently updated and fully equipped kitchen, straight ahead is very comfortably furnished living room with a TV/DVD/VCR and new sofa. Walk right through the living room to the private balcony with ocean views. To the left of the living area are both bedrooms. We have been going to Hilton Head for many years. It's one of our favorite places. This is the first time we have visited in the spring and it was a very nice experience. We like it more on the cooler side rather than the hot summer. Love biking, walking and going to all the wonderful restaurants which are right next door in Coligny Square. We had wonderful weather and we love Beachwood Place. Smaller, private pool, ocean view!!! Will definitely return maybe as early as this fall. Would highly recommend Beachwood and Palmeto Sands :)

Great experience all the way from my first call back in January about information, to final check out on april 5th. Two couples staying at condo, which proved to be very comfortable. Condo unit had a plumbing issue and it only took an hour to have problem fixed. Wow!! Can't get this kind of service at home!! Great central location and right on ocean. Complex was a bit noisy with 3-4 families traveling together on vacation with teenage kids. But all was quiet after midnight. Plan on coming back again.

The location was awesome, the beach was just behind the condo but the room was awful, they have a serious mold problem. The smell was overwhelming, we lit candles but that only masked the problem. I love the complex as a whole but room 1H needs a thorough cleaning.

My family and I come to Hilton Head Island at least twice a year. Usually in the Summer and Fall. We have rented properties from Palmetto Sands on several occasions, and we will continue to come back. Paula and the rest of the staff have always been very kind and helpful. The properties are well maintained, well priced, and in great locations.

Kitchen not very will equipped. Only one tray for ice cubes in the freezer.
The unit was very clean, buy a little too cramped. No room to spread out. Sofa did not sit well.
Location was excellent. Beach access perfect. Ants around the pool area a nuisance. -

We have stayed in this same unit 9 out of the last 11 years. It is clean, roomy, and the best value on Hilton Head. The location couldn't be any better! It is impossible to find an ocean front room for a better deal. Our 3 children love it and we love that they can safely walk from the beach to the pool or the unit and then back again without having to go through a parking lot or cross a street. The staff that we rented from could not have been nicer or more accomodating. We will come back here year after year as long as we can!

We've been staying at Beachwood Place for years and love the location. A remodel of the place a few years back really improved the condos. 1H is very nice - hardwood floors, nice furniture, and a great view overlooking the pool. Planning on renting it again next year!

Our experience with our villa, 1 H Beachwood was superb. We had a gorgeous view of the ocean and pool area, and easy access for my mom's scooter chair. The villa was clean and well stocked. Comfortable beds and furniture. Beautiful landscaping! The surroundings were private and we loved listening to the island sounds, from the night time music coming from up the beach to the beautiful birds singing and the ocean tides. This made the whole package incredible. We are counting the days until we head back down south for another taste of Hilton Head Island. My parents kept saying we could not have chosen a better spot.
