Palmetto Dunes vacation rentals, like 2518 Villamare, are the perfect spot for a vacation on Hilton Head Island. This nicely appointed villa has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, located on the 5th floor of an oceanfront complex with glimpses of the ocean. When entering the villa foyer, to the left is the kitchen which opens to the living/dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of counter space for preparing meals and it also has a breakfast bar for additional seating. There is also a stackable washer/dryer available for use. Our room was spacious, clean, and we loved the location. We were traveling with a couple of families and a few small children. The walkways to the beach are all paved, so walking to the beach with a stroller was no problem. Great price, clean space, plenty of room.

Myself and 2 of my girlfriends recently stayed in this rental (September 2012) and really enjoyed it. The location was great and very close to the beach. We found the rental to be updated and very nice. Parking was easy but granted, it wasn't a busy time of year. The elevator was slow which was probably the only downfall - a good reason to use the stairs! This 2 bedroom rental would be great for a large family, 2 small families, or 2 - 3 couples. I would most definitely stay here again and have already suggested it to our friends who will be in HHI for our april wedding. Oh, and the price was perfect considering the updates and proximity to the beach!!

Positives: tile flooring in living area, new living area furnishings, comfy master bed, new bedding, large bedrooms, clean unit.

Convenient, affordable, nice location, etc. Nothing bad to say about it. However, wish we had known to buy coffee filters during our first grocery store run. Luckily, the grocery and most other handy stores are a very short drive from the property.
