We have been renting through island getaway for 10 years
This is the best property we have rented so far
We were initially disappointed when we arrived as the house was very dusty as some remodelling had been carried out but island getaway staff responded very promptly and had the house cleaned the next day...we left very happy...problems can arise and how your staff respond is the key to customer satisfaction

This house is wonderful and in a perfect location. It is situated in a private section of Palmetto Dunes away from condos and hotels, nestled among other homes, right across the street from the beach path, with a great view and access to the lagoon. The kitchen and living area are huge and perfect for large family gatherings. We had three families in the house. Each couple had their own bedroom with the children sharing the very large "kids" bedroom. It was perfect. Everyone could be together but also have their private space and the house had everything we needed. In addition, it was very clean and loaded with supplies for our stay. The beach access across the road made trips to the beach fast & easy while fishing on the lagoon was equally enjoyable. A couple of the children even enjoyed a Christmas dip in the pool. I would highly recommend this home to any discriminating traveler wanting a beautiful home on Hilton Head Island with easy access to everything! It was a superb home and we had an amazing stay.

We had a wonderful time on our vacation. The house was great. The guys enjoyed the dock and the pool table. We also liked how close the house was to the ocean. We will definitely be interested in renting this house again because of its location and all of the amenities.

This was our 6th year travelling to Hilton Head and every year we've been in a different house looking for the one we'd come back to every year. After years of searching, we finally found that house. 143 Mooring Buoy had everything we'd been looking for and it was beautiful. We travel with 3 generations which range in age from 2 to 62. Everyone loved the house. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great! The kitchen and living space were huge and we had plenty of room to spread out. We couldn't have asked for a better location on the lagoon...as we love to fish while we're there. The walkway to the beach is perfect. The pool was in great condition as was the patio furniture. We can't say enough how much we loved the house and can't wait to return next year!

This vacation home is absolutely beautiful. It has everything you need away from home. The kitchen was huge and accommodating for our large family. The pool and patio area was great. The pool table was a great bonus. It was about a 2 minute walk to the beach.

This house was just beautiful, had plenty of bedrooms for 12 people. The view was especially nice. It had a great lagoon view and great pool. The screened in porch was nice as well which overlooks the lagoon. One of the nicest homes we have stayed at in the 15 years of coming to Hilton Head.
