Datyon, OhGreat place, but needs to be cleaned!

Best part of this house is the new-ish saltwater pool! It's beautiful & we were so pleasantly surprised how clean the pool was upon our arrival! Unfortunately, the next day it rained & we learned why there is a makeshift tarp constructed along the landscaping--rain causes a landslide of dirt to dump in the pool and all over the surrounding brickwork. Yuck! We worked to clean it out & the pool man came midweek, so it remained our favorite part of the rental. The house, on the other hand, needs a deep cleaning & then a much better weekly upkeep. It's sad to have to say this is the dirtiest house we've ever rented. It's a very nice house, and although it definitely needs some updating (upstairs), but things like old carpeting & bedding, fallen window treatments, etc. could all be overlooked if it had been clean! It wasn't just that it hadn't gotten cleaned well enough before our arrival, it hasn't been cleaned well for a long time. Also, just so you know, the 4th bed/bath is very much a converted attic; tiny bathroom with an even tinier shower stall! We had specifically chosen a 4 bed/4 bath house, and this fell short of our expectations.
