We have rented houses on Hilton Head for over twenty years. This is by far the most beautiful, user friendly house we have stayed in. The pool/outdoor bar area was a delight for us all. The kitchen was so well equipped that we were able to cook for 10 easily.

We just spent a week at 22 Gunnery Lane. What a great house! Everything was nice and clean when we arrived. The kids absolutely loved the pool area. There was some rain and wind while we were there, so we especially appreciated the screened pool. We would definitely recommend it.

would have been perfect but too much cochroaches everywhere day and night. Too far from the beach. Was told 5 min but that was driving prob 20 min walking

We want to thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are sorry you encountered some palmetto bugs during your recent visit to the island. All of our properties receive routine pest control and the dates of service are always posted inside one of the kitchen cabinet doors so our guest can be assured that this is not being neglected. As for the distance to the beach, we have changed the wording in the description for this house with the hope that no one else will be misled in anyway. We would like other readers to know that you can walk to the beach from this house but it is roughly a 10-15 minute walk. Parking at the Sea Pines Beach Club is less than 2 miles from the house and by bike is accessible in 5 minutes or less. Thank you again for your comments and for helping Hilton Head Vacation Rentals remain a leader in providing vacation rental properties on Hilton Head Island.

Even though there were many pictures of this home they were not enough to describe how great and unique this place really was.
So easy to be together and just as easy to find a place for "alone" time. Easy for all age groups to be there. We ended up with eight people and had room for more. The comfort and the privacy was perfect for all of us. With the enclosed pool area we did not feel we were disturbing anyone in the area. Everything was good quality and very comfortable. Came back truly rested. Thank you for sharing your home with us. -

This house is definitely a 5 star rental. The house is gorgeous and the pool in the house is wonderful. All of the rooms had TVs so there was no fighting on what we were going to watch. Hilton Head Rentals is very responsive to any problems that we had during our stay.

This was a most beautiful spot to host my husband's 50th birthday with his family. We had travelers from So Ca., Florida Panhandle, Mid Florida, and Northern Ga. We traveled from Houston, Tecas.
This accomodation was excellent. The home was roomy, and easily held all of us for meals. The screened in pool was a great gathering place for all. We enjoyed walking to the beach from Gunnery Lane. The back porch was the morning coffee spot for all. Thank you to the owners for sharing their home to create this memory! -

We loved this home! The pool area was fantastic as we had several kids and this was great entertainment for them! The kitchen was wonderful! Our only complaints were that we found some rather huge roaches in the master bdrm with the separate entrance over the garage. Also, the tv and dvd player in this room did not work. Overall all, we loved this home and would definitely come back! One side note...directions to the beach would be helpful, we had to ask the neighbors how to get there :)

The weather was hot but I love it. The house was wonderful, very clean updated applicances and furniture. The location was great, close to the bike path which makes everything possible.
The pool area was wonderful, indoors and screened in and no bugs. The area off the back was wonderful as well and had an awning that kept the sun from getting too hot.
I enjoyed myself thoroughly. -

Although we arrived a little early for check-in and had to return for the keys, the office staff at Hilton Head vacation rentals was very nice and helpful. The home we stayed at was spectacular--very comfortable, wonderfully furnished and roomy and the courtyard pool was to die for. We didn't want to go home! The beach was 5 minutes away (having access to the beach club was great!) and the bike trail access was 2 houses down. The bike trails were beautiful. The only thing we were taken aback by was the gator in the pond in the back yard, but by the end of the week, 'Wally' was just one of the family. The only thing that could have made our 1 week stay better would have been 2 weeks! Can't wait to come back.

We had a wonderful time at this home celebrating several family birthdays, a retirement and just being together. We had five families with ages ranging from four months old to 64 years old, and there was something for everyone. Each individual family felt they had enough private space to themselves, yet there was plenty of space to bring us all together. The enclosed pool was very nice and used throughout the week. The family room / dining area was large enough for family gatherings. The kitchen was fully stocked, making meal times easy. Thanks for a great vacation experience.

The place was amazing and just what we needed with 4 families. The home had all the space you needed and allowed you the peace if you wanted it. The kids loved the pool and the fact that it was indoors made some of the parents very happy. It was centrally located for all the things you wanted, South Beach, Harbourtown, golf courses and the beach.
If you are planning a HH vacation and need a large home and don't want to feel crowded 22 Gunnery Lane is the place for you.
